Gotta agree with hotboi here, this track is beautiful. I understand the comment about rhythm, the corners are all kinda distanced from each other, but it's there for me. Very challenging track, which is why I like it. And I use the trackside brake markers throughout here, you guys need to turn up the contrast on your TVs

Now, I compared my run this week to my pole here from last season. Same line, no apparent time loss anywhere. So if my time is dismal compared to the field, I'm gonna know something is up with my car's HP

BTW, what happened to the race thread? I thought it was meant to be posted on Friday night

I've pushed to the limit, can't even caught my main opponent, HondaRacer, for that reason he uses the same car as me. The difference between our cars is my only excuse. It's 6% or 67 kgs. In this case my submitted time is not so bad...

I had a 1'39.131 and I could see a tenth or two, but you killed!

This track is beautiful,Yes .But but I just don't have a DFP.
The last chicane,with DS2 did Killed me.I managed a 1'48.976.
I'm curious to see the results,because my last T's should be pathetic.

When checking the results if you're asking yourself questions about my sector times, yes I did miss turn 2 and lost .200 to .300, I know because I did run some other laps destroying T1 by that much. But the rest of the lap if soooo fast that I could never beat it. Starting at Sector 1 I don't think anyone could of followed me. You'll see in the video replay.

Well, like in last season in Motegi, this is a good track for the Supras. Since we don't have so much grip, the slight sliding in some curves and the loose rear helps in most of those 90 degrees turns. And I remember last season Iwas loaded with work and gave it only a few minutes. This time, i guess I gave it an all hour. One other important difference from this to last season. This season I'm faster (myself) and being backed up and also backing up close GTPT pilots who are helping a lot. Hope this can be maintained all season.

But don't just take it from this qualify. I'm lighter and I still have a lot of races to be heavy and slow. This is probably a one shot.....

Serious?! You were the fastest non Toyota and better than a half a second faster than me and would've beat fasj had he submitted. Let's trade for this race. ;^)

And EV4L, make sure you remember to reduce the weight in each of our cars... I'm happy with my result, wasn't really expecting it, but I guess that 4% weight loss makes that big of a difference! I wonder if it'll allow me to go farther on tires, now THAT would be awesome. I'll have a try at the race later today, see what I can manage. I'll be MUCH less frustrated going around this track not at 100% speed.


Sad thing is, I got a 1'48.303 after a half an hour of playing that was split into two different sessions, and then it took me yesterday's full 30-40 minutes to just barely beat it. I left a decent amount on the table in each sector too. If you look at my replay I'm wide here, wide there, blah blah.

yes i've talked to him, and too bad he hasnt participated fully ~ because i was looking forward to it

but i understand, me and him are in so many different series - its just so hard to keep track of all the series
