First of all, let me say that I have really enjoyed participating in this series. You have done a great job in running the races, keeping things updated in a timely manner and with the exception of the two Nissans in GT500, the competition has been really close.
The only suggestions I can make are:
- A schedule of at least 10 races, mostly on real circuits, but with the best of the PD circuits in there too. From this season's schedule, I would like to see Tsukuba dropped, but add Sears Point (I can't bring myself to say Infineon Raceway), Apricot Hill and Autumn Ring. A series as realistic as this should have circuits that look and feel realistic.
- Possibly spreading out the series to have races every other week. Towards the end of this season, it has become a bit of a drag to race every weekend.
- More cars are fine, but the Nissans (Xanavi Skyline and Motul Z) really have way too much of an advantage. It's only been in the last few races where one or the other hasn't dominated the race. How about giving us Supra drivers a break? It seems we're the forgotten child of the series, with the Nissans having such an advantage and the Hondas having been legislated into competitiveness. We're still mid-pack.
- I agree with the suggestion that penalty weight could be removed quicker. I would also request cars lowest in the standings get to remove weight.
- Adjust the points system. The gap between 3rd and 4th is higher than that between 2nd and 3rd. I would look to the old CART points standings that awarded points down to 12th with a much more even distribution of points. 1st - 20, 2nd - 16, 3rd - 14, 4th - 12, 5th - 10, 6th - 8, 7th - 6, 8th - 5, 9th - 4, 10th - 3, 11th - 2, 12th - 1. Having said that, I like the points for top qualifiers and fastest lappers. BTW, constructor points would also be great.
Thanks for reading our suggestions. Again, you have done a great job with this series.
