Post here any suggestion you might have for next season. Don't forget you have your word to say in this and I listen to everyone. The more we are the best the chances are we can come up with brilliant new ideas. It can be anything ; track selection, new cars, settings, rules etc...

Let me know guys. 👍

Just curious as to everyones thought here...

Who would like to choose their own teammate?

I second that.

Also, NO TSUKUBA WET WITHOUT TCS. That race would have actually been a bit of fun if we could have used TCS, but all us poor suckers stuck with DS2s were stuck in no lower than 4th or 5th gear for an hour. But of course, I think a race on the dry track would be best; it's a great track.

Also, I'd love to see a race at Monaco.

How about no Tsukuba? It's too small for JGTC competition, that's why they dont race there in real life.

I think races could be more fun doing one try only, only allowing practice in time trial

The weight penalties could be more "aggressive", with decrease of weigth for a bad result (down of cero) for faster balance of the grid

Only suggestions, of course 👍

I don't quite buy this complaint. I was driving the most powerful car in the entire line up (543hp Castrol NSX), with a DS2, and I got my best result at Tsukuba Wet. I just set my max speed to 450km to keep from spinning out. Did no one else try that?

It wasn't even a normal DS2. It was a brand new Logitech wireless controller with a really clicky X button. Throttle modulation would've been even easier on my old controller.

I didn't especially like driving on the track, but I don't want it to be thrown out. It's nice to have something different.

I'd like to keep it as a personal choice.

Most of the time, I only ran one race b/c of RL time constraints. But I like to have the option to run it again if I have a particularly bad race.

with proper handicap, other cars could be added:

350z LM, RX-7 and RX-8 LM, calsonic nissan skyline ´93, FTO LM, Mitsu evo8 supercar (LM) and many others japanese cars that could fit into the JGTC season... i´ll look at the car list and think on other names...

also, lets not forget that some internatinal cars like the ferrari 355 and the diablo already participated in the JGTC... so there´s room for cars like the BMW M3 GTR and many others... we just have to look and see what "fits" to the series...

but adding cars will be greatly appreciated 👍 👍 👍

Yep, yesterday I started to look at the cars I could add to the mix and those are the potential one to appear in next season.

Integra Type-R Touring Car '02
Honda NSX-R LM Race Car '02
Mazda Atenza Touring Car '02
Mazda RX-7 LM Race Car '01
Amuse S2000 GT1 '04
Mitsubishi FTO Super Touring Car '97
Nissan Fairlady Z Concept LM Race Car '02
Maxda RX-8 Concept LM Race Car '01
Subaru Impreza Super Touring Car '01
Toyota Altezza Touring Car '01

Anyway, one thing is for sure I can guarantee a sick ass car lineup for Season 1. 👍 Any other candidate let me know.

Oh and where do you get the Mitsu evo8 supercar (LM)???

the EVO 8 supercar is in the dealership, it has a strange wing, and its white... looks like a WRC car, but doesn´t exist, so it is a dream car... is more powerful than the regular WRC EVO, so with extra HP could be in the GT500 class...

also hoping to see my beloved and historical undefeated champ Calsonic Skyline ´93 somewhere in that mix...

thanks for this thread, and later tonight i´ll search for more possible cars...

Are you talking about the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Super Rally Car '03? If not then I just can't find it! The one I named you I can't really accept because it doesn't really have the touring shape like the Impreza Super Touring Car '01 in contrast with the actual Impreza Rally Car. Let me know. :)

Oh and I just won the RX-7 LM Race Car '01 for the first time and it's just siiiiiiiick.

What about the BMW 300i Touring Car? (I think that's the name)

Yeah even if I'm aware that foreign manufacturers did compete in the JGTC I'd like to concentrate on Japanese cars the most. The BMW was on my first draft list of JGTC/Touring cars but wasn't retained on the potential list.

yes, it is that car... i just thought of him because its not a WRC car and its made by polyphony digital (dream car) but since its based on the WRC EVO, it might mix everything up... just thought it was a way to include a Lancer into the show... anyway, lets keep hearing new ideas for cars...

howz about the Mitsubishi CZ-R Tarmac Rally Car?

...

Also, you would have to do some hp +++ on the BMW 320i Touring Car. It is an awesome car to drive but, I drove it in Arcade +10 (hardness) this happened to be against some GT500 cars (as well as LM Concepts) and dispite a valient effort, 6 place. Put it into the 300 class and get it just above 300, it'll do fine.

First of all, let me say that I have really enjoyed participating in this series. You have done a great job in running the races, keeping things updated in a timely manner and with the exception of the two Nissans in GT500, the competition has been really close.

The only suggestions I can make are:

- A schedule of at least 10 races, mostly on real circuits, but with the best of the PD circuits in there too. From this season's schedule, I would like to see Tsukuba dropped, but add Sears Point (I can't bring myself to say Infineon Raceway), Apricot Hill and Autumn Ring. A series as realistic as this should have circuits that look and feel realistic.

- Possibly spreading out the series to have races every other week. Towards the end of this season, it has become a bit of a drag to race every weekend.

- More cars are fine, but the Nissans (Xanavi Skyline and Motul Z) really have way too much of an advantage. It's only been in the last few races where one or the other hasn't dominated the race. How about giving us Supra drivers a break? It seems we're the forgotten child of the series, with the Nissans having such an advantage and the Hondas having been legislated into competitiveness. We're still mid-pack.

- I agree with the suggestion that penalty weight could be removed quicker. I would also request cars lowest in the standings get to remove weight.

- Adjust the points system. The gap between 3rd and 4th is higher than that between 2nd and 3rd. I would look to the old CART points standings that awarded points down to 12th with a much more even distribution of points. 1st - 20, 2nd - 16, 3rd - 14, 4th - 12, 5th - 10, 6th - 8, 7th - 6, 8th - 5, 9th - 4, 10th - 3, 11th - 2, 12th - 1. Having said that, I like the points for top qualifiers and fastest lappers. BTW, constructor points would also be great.

Thanks for reading our suggestions. Again, you have done a great job with this series.

We should out own chooise to pick a panter if yes. i got one he lives far away from me but. we can keep the time in everthing. by the way he beat GT4 already 5 times.

We don't need anymore GT500 cars and only a few more GT300 cars. I would try and suggest to keep everything of Japanese origin.

It wont matter if has other cars. bacuse some of them you can use any online racing, so it will be thight if more difreant cars around the world were in.

Suggestion: Time frame of qualifiers and races. 💡

Have qualifying from monday thru saturday. That way it gives us an extra day on a weekend to race (sunday). Which for some of us is the only day we can really race.

Liken it so far :dopey:

pardon?

also its tough to find balance among the cars... that needs to be rethinked...

last night i was testing at laguna and the models 03 and 04 are much more stable, handle better and brake much better than the others... maybe we will have to re-balance the cars...

if somehow i can help with this, just let me know...
