Front page news in our town was about a cop who shot a guy who was getting up off the ground during a felony stop. The cop shot him after he told the suspect to get up. There's a video of it, too. Basically, it's a video capturing a cop committing attempted murder. Oh, and the guy he shot just got back from serving two years in Iraq as a MP. Welcome home.

Well, BionicX, I'm glad to see your operation was a success. Hang in there, because the tough stuff ain't over yet. 👍

WTF is an aeroplane?

Everyone panics if you hit 50mph on the motorway.. horses weren't meant to go that fast!

[EDIT] I apoligize for abit of off topic, but bashing my hometown is an unmissable opurtunity. You usually get a bunch of chavs who turn around and start saying I must be from Cardiff (killable offense)

It went fine, it took less time then they though. Screwed some plates it, scoped the yucky stuff out, put some pins in, and redid the knee cap. I can't really walk right now but other then that I feel fine this morning and I just got through a huge breakfast.

Good to hear you made it out okay. I hope physical therapy isn't too rough. I doubt it will be since it has been my experience that all the cute girls decide to work there. :sly:
 
Do you have much memory of the accident Joey - or is your knowledge of it from what you've been told?
 
I remember quite a bit of it, which is surprising. What really sucks is that I keep dreaming about it. I think I'll have some psycological effects for a while but they will go away with time. I'm already starting to write a fictional story based on it, from the prespective of the street racer mind you. But writing is how I deal with things I suppose. I'll be sure and post it up once I'm done with it.

But I remember that "I should've been a cowboy" was playing on the radio, and I remember flipping over. But I don't remember going to the hospital. I think I passed out at sometime.

Side note: I'm checking outta here at 3:00pm EST. I can't wait to get home and chill in my own bed.
 
Well the good thing was the F-150 was outfitted with a roll bar, not a light bar, but a full welded to the frame roll bar. I'm almost certian that is why we are still alive.
 
those dreams are quite normal... they usually last up to about three months

Well I'm home and its nice. They let me out early due to paper work that was sped up. It was a real pain in the ass to get up my stairs into my room, but I managed to just slide up with the help of Max.

My mom is making me a new york strip, baked patatoe, baby carrots, and sauteed mushrooms right now for dinner. The doctor said I might lose my appatite...I think not.

Kaite bought me a slew of games including...FEAR, Baulders Gate, Icewindale, and Guild Wars. I think I'll be busy for a while.

Max also put my computer together...my new one so I'm going to have a feild day with that.
 
It's good to know that you're at home and that the surgery went well. :)
 
Oh ya I'm not going to need a wheel chair, I got crutches and they seem to be working good enough. Also I have this contraption on my knee that's big and black. It's weird as hell. If my digital camera hadn't been broken in the crash I'd take a picture.

Hay, it's all I'd be playing if I was in that situation. :D Beside WTF are the other games?? I've never even heard of them and they sound like they suck.
