Thanks

As for the kid, like I said I'm going to invite him to join the Safe Racing Society, even though he won't ever be able to drive, maybe he can set an example. Although he's probably thick headed and will get another car and try to race with hand controls.

i kinda take back some of my initial reaction about the SRT-4 driver, if u get him into some awareness project that has been a concern of yours, then some real good could arise out of the ordeal. Yeh, everyone on here has had the urge to push when things have gotten heady so it is mebbe wrong to judge the foolhardy too quickly. Hope this works out when u face up w/ the kid. He kin always come race 'hand-controls' w/ us !:sly:

I really wish Wednesday would get here so they can put my knee togehter...this cast thing sucks and I hate not being able to walk around...I feel so lazy.

The good news is that I was able to sorta get dressed today, threw on a pair of basketball shorts and a hoodie. I want to work out, but the nurse told me I couldn't...so I just do laps around the hospital in my wheel chair. I'm learning how to do stuff in it and I was even able to pop a wheelie...Katie about had a heart attack though.

Other then that, I'm still bored, the internet only has so much on it before I get sick of it...plus its dial up so it's not stellar. At least I have my lap top so I can watch DVD's and play games. Katie bought me Call of Duty 2 and I must say its entertaining.

On the chart **** ; Work out for a slow recuperation as that place sounds like the penthouse;). Remind ureself to put the Sleds and the holiday on the cruise-control Tab, but as for the Chair Wars, got to watch that or ure liable to start a Hospital Riot or some ****!

But in good sprits I've requested the name change of BionicXtreme.

Because I'm sweet, I changed my name

Did you change your name because of my suggestion?

- why not 'FlaminXtream'?

...if you want a new avatar to go with the new name i have a suggestion :sly:

No FlaminXtreme...people might misread it as Famin . But yes I figured since it was starting to catch on I might as well change my name. Any way surgery is scheduled for 10 and they are going to come and get me any minute to start on this whole thing.

Good luck, Joey 'Steve Austin' Xtream 👍

"Gentlemen, we can rebuild him . . . we have the technology. We have the capability to make the world's first bionic knee'd man. Joey Xtream will be that man. Better than he was before, Stronger, Faster, more GM biased . . ."

Good luck with the Knee op, hope you get on ur feet and about soon.

Best of wishes the operation all goes as planned! :)👍

Been ill since sunday, so haven't been online much, just saw this thread. Cool to see you're still with us BionicX.

Hope I'm not late - Good luck with the Surgery Joey - Or is that Mr. Bionic ? ;)

You'll be in surgery now so won't read this until you're out - I hope everything went OK for you. :)

It's the first step on a long journey my friend.

Surgery went fine, althought I can't walk right now. There is a slew of metal, screws and pin in my knee. It hurts really back but that's to be expected. They won't know how I faired for a few weeks yet though. But I get to come home either tomarrow afternoon or friday morning.

I’m glad there were no complications. Good luck with the recovery, and go easy on it!

Anyway, glad it went well... take it easy. 👍

Nope, the news around me sucks. It might have been in the local paper but I haven't looked at the paper in days.
