Game is truly unique. One night my girlfriend try it and once she started, next thing we know two hours later she finish the journey and she liked.

I've just in few places help her pointing where to go. She never play any video game and seeing her enjoy those caverns and travel with some unknown players it was really fun. This game is so simple that can be played by all ages i think.

Everyone can play the game, yet only a few people will get the emotional side of it. My sister and a friend of mine both played it and thought it was alright - but thought of it as a game. I've two other friends who played it and one said that they almost cried.

It was an emotional experience for my wife and me. Very moving. My best friend played and and gave me the controller after about 30 minutes and said I don't get it.

That's my dad, I was hooked and loved evey second of it, but the old mad did exactly as your friend , he played it for 20/30 minutes the turned it off exclaiming he didn't understand it and was board.:indiff:

Experience is unforgettable. Maybe not everyone has been blessed to understand it

I guess you have to be in the right mindset for playing it. Don't think of it as a game, just think of it as an exploration. Most people fly in the desert level, but try to walk the majority of it, it's relaxing and meditative to me. Likewise in the Underground bit - I walk the whole length to take in the atmosphere and graphics.

Thanks to you guys I tried the demo yesterday. Today I drove down to Bestbuy and bought a $20 psn card (didn't want to put my CC info in the system). Now I just finished the game a few minutes ago.

I was like "wow" and had these mixed-emotions going on through my head =P From the demo I felt something, it was something that I could not stop. I wanted to keep on going. After I played the demo I stayed far away from anything that had to do with Journey to avoid spoilers. I didn't even want to look at screenshots. It surely paid off.

I went on my own pace thinking that the other character was just an AI! I guess some person stuck with me all the way. Now knowing that I felt the way it ended was perfect.

It was was definitely worth it even for a one-time play through. But I can see why others may dislike it. The demo and the incredible feedback helped decided that I must experience this.

When I saw my first white-cloak (third playthough I think), I thought he was just an AI - he seemed like it as well, not very responsive.

I googled "white-cloak" later and it turns out it was someone else

Finally got the materials - gonna be cosplaying as a White-Cloak to a local gaming/anime expo. My friend's going as a Red-Cloak as well:

Bump:

Went to the expo - a few people even asked to take photos :D
The grey triangles, gold lycra and silver lycra were all ironed on using interfacing and the gold bias tape was sewn on.

Nice work!

My wife does all of our halloween costumes.

I am computerless atm so cant post pics here but if you want to see the last couple years send me a pm with your email.
Joker and harley based on arkham asylum and also sallu and oogie boogie from nightmare before xmas are probably my favorites.

Looks great Daniel. Just make sure you don't trip over, no arms to break your fall.

There's an opening at the front so I can bring my arms out if needed. Was really fun going to the Expo as well :D

Yesterday we we're spending the evening with a friend when suddenly we got to discussing this game and it turned out he had never played it. I immediately fired up the PS3 and let my friend experience it while having a great time watching at the same time. This is truly the most beautiful game I've ever played.

I can't understand people who dislike it. I really can't.

A while ago I had a few friends over and two of them took turns playing the game and both of them adored it. I honestly don't understand how people don't 'get it'.

Then again, I guess they can say that we're weird for getting all emotional over a video game :indiff:

game seems great, im gonna buy it soon. sincs its so short ill be buying it with a friend to share the costs and make an account for both of us to share.

if you feel its too much money for only 2 hours of gameplay, share a new account with a friend and play it on your normal accounts.

Journey is coming to PS4, release date is unknown but with Flower this game is make it's appearance on next gen.

Graphics on PS3 is just amazing, well it's small game but still looks stunning i cant imagine how it could look on PS4, i can't wait to play it

I finally got to play this on PS4 thanks to PS plus, I'm amazed how a game without speech/subtitles can tell such an emotional story. I've played games that have made me feel all sorts of emotions but this is the closest I've came to crying over a game. I had a great co-op guy too which made it even better.
