Qualifying:
You can qualify with any car you like up to Round 4, but once you qualify, you MUST race with that car for that round.
You can qualify at any time until 2 hours before the race begins.
Qualifying ends in
Notify any of the race officials on PSN or on here that you want to qualify.
Success ballast is used during qualifying.
The qualifying room must have the same settings as listed under "Room Regulations"
The race official will check room settings and car settings.
You will do a 4 lap "Grid Start" race and the fastest lap time in the first 3 laps will be your qualifying time. The 4th lap is just for you to sit there so the race officials can easily record your time. Please do not leave the track until the steward says that they have your time.
Only one person can be on the track during qualifying.
Save the replay if you need to confirm the fastest lap.
Only a clean lap will be counted for your qualifying time. "Clean" meaning never going out of track boundaries. In the event that both of your laps are not clean (regardless of whether or not you gained time from the infraction), then your qualifying times will not be counted, and you will be sent to the bottom of the grid.
You can only qualify once.

It would be to easy to use his eyes and read simple instructions will, Seth like's to re-write the regs 2 days before the 1st pre season race! Even though they had already been discussed.

I just can't wait to get going in this celica now skeng, I've started to get a bit more pace out of it now, I have to run real low rear downforce though. You'll have to share your tune with me so I can compare ;)

Yeh sure im willing to share all information , im hoping we can win that teams championship

Cheers, I lost so many points last season by making stupid mistakes. I'm making more of an effort not to push to hard and risk spinning.

Yeh just keep a steady pace and let the race come to you , just try to setup the car to be as stable as possible .

We all have spun out before , it sucks.

Well I'll have to be purchasing and testing a new DFGT with a bungee cord/stress ball mod soon. Dont know why Im having such foul luck with the G27 pedals.

Just as I thought, next time don't let your arrogance completely miss thepoint we were talking about.
Or next time you can read what I said instead of talking out your backside? But probably not. You'll continue to be my critic since you have nothing better to do it seems.

The only people confused were the ones that didn't bother reading the season 2 OP.
I said people in Season 1 were confused. Again, you failed to read.

Where did I say I was confused? I said people from season 1 were confused because they said 3 laps were counted, how can you count the first lap if it's going to be slower since you start from a standstill? Please, read before you reply.

You talk so much about not reading but your whole reply was because of your lack of reading my original post. Why you sweating what I say so much? Grow up and find another hobby.

Seth none of the conversation I started with Zach involved you in any sense at all, and yet you butted in and ruined another few pages in the thread. I told you before and I'll say it again. Please do not talk or have your say on anything I bring up in the thread. Thank you.

There you go again with your name calling. You still don't get what I said. I wasn't replying to you or Zack. If you go back and read what I said, I made note of that. I talked about the OP, but when I said that about "3 hotlaps" the wording was different for the qualifying procedures.

I didn't get to read all the post, but I will be locking this tread in 24hrs so we can move our discussions over to the season 2 tread. It's time to go back into racing mode, I literally forgot all of my practicing procedures for getting ready for an event.

I was practicing today with T-n-T, low 1:40s for me. I know mid 1:39's are easily obtainable because I was doing them a couple days ago before I changed some settings. I just can't seem to make the final turn work. The acceleration of my cars just isn't getting me onto that straight with enough grunt. I think I just have to change my gearing.

What I like that I'm hearing is everyone is running 40's. I'm just waiting to hear from the Arta's since they were re reged. <---- so not a word'

Not everyone. The Lexus is easily in the 39's and 38's. I ran the Celica in the 39s yesterday as well. I'm not even familiar with that car so I know the guys running that will be fast, and Calum in the Lexus did a 37.9, so yeah- Lexus is still king IMO.

Tokyo is just a Lexus friendly track due to its nature. The Lexus domination won't last throughout

No cos we swapped to laguna and the Lexus could keep up with the scooby even tho I running same setup as Tokyo

From that the trap speed numbers that I found out that Lexus won't be able to keep with the pack if be break draft from it. Its the Cusco '03 Subaru & Rx-7's that could catch up with out a draft. I haven't been intimidated by the Lexus's since there last regulation change. Imo of course. I bet once we start racing the cars are going to feel equal in speed!
