GTP OLR, Section 8.
B: You must establish substantial overlap with the car ahead before they reach the corner’s turn-in point to have the right to drive up their inside, or to expect them to leave inside room for you. At least the front of your car should be up to the driver’s position in the ahead car.
The ahead driver has the right to be fully committed to the racing line of their CHOICE without any interference if there was no substantial overlap before he turned in.
So with that being said, even-tho Tyler braked 50m/100m early and turned in very early which I witnessed, legally he still had the right of way at that point, and not making contact with the leading car is the responsibility of the following driver (Seth). So Seth caused this accident, and there is no need to argue this. Now the stewards believed that Seth gave Tyler ample time to gain composure, but when he could not and also with the fact that Tyler's car knocked Seth's car off the track on one of his light up's which could be brought up as a incident. The stewards replied in favor that it was ok for Seth to take the position back upon pit entry due to the fact that he did wait for Tyler. So Seth wont get a penalty of a 30 sec drive thru because he waited ample time for Tyler to re take his position back. But because of
OLR Rule Section 8 the racing incident was caused by Seth, its not Tyler's fault that his tires lite up 3 times because if he had not been spun he would of not been in that time consuming situation in the 1st place, so the fact that Zach & Cam passed Tyler is on the shoulders of the time loss from being spun in this race incident which was caused by Seth according to
Section 8 in the OLR so the +5 sec times 2 still remains.

I'll be at the famously now know Willow Springs Raceway tomorrow to drop my kart off for his heart transplant so ill be signed on later afternoon for qualifiers. Before I leave I'll try to find a Stewart to qualify me before I head out, just in case!
