These threads are symptomatic of a few things... there's a lack of content, this has been widely acknowledged... and they updates tend to be more sporadic than people want.
Lastly the content when it comes tends to not stretch out all that well over the period between updates.
Ok we love the Group C cars but there's a limit to peoples' enthusiasm.
I would also note you get people who will invaribaly complain about this 'periodic content' not being available day one.
I study marketing and business at the uni, studies prove that newcomers/not experienced customers will always ask for more content (cause they don't control the existing features and have no interest in mastering them); and more seasoned customers will generally ask for better performance of the content that already exists. I don't say it, researchers do.
It's a common thing in any online business with free content, it happens always. In top of that, listening to the newcomers is never a good thing to do for this type of business, because newcomers will probably leave as soon as something more exciting shows up (the new AC Competizione for instance), and they will go to the new thing and will ask for more content, and so on, until they find something that really fits them (Need for Speed: Money grab 3)
Marketing specialists know, PD knows.
That's why Kaz is around driving cars, he's got better things to do than looking at people moaning in tweeter. I'm surprised he's still doing this, with so many ungrateful little bastards moaning about everything. If I was him I'd be like... "Piss off all of you, no more GT, go and play candy crash!"
I actually answered to the last update announcement and I told them "Thanks, PD. Beautiful game." Being grateful is a very healthy thing to do, just saying.
I make a joke about that stuff. Instead of being like this:
I'm like this:
dude... Bill Cosby? Seriously? Have you watched news lately?
