Toyota 86 GT | Subaru BRZ S - N200

Apparently one of the few new cars you can buy with a standard transmission #eyeroll. But still not enough for me to want to buy either. But maybe my tune will help sway your opinion of these two cars. Just set both transmissions to the necessary top speed for your track. They should be able to tackle any track. The specs below are for the Toyota 86 GT. No mileage upgrades were done to the car.

Track - Dragon Trail: Gardens
Horsepower (hp) - 198
Torque (ft-lb)- 151.1

I'll admit it. I'm glad this car is just N100. She definitely feels N200 though #OP. One of the few RR cars in the game, she's a fun ride. I have the LSD set to 60 for Braking Sensitivity, you can try putting it to 5 if you want added turn in, but I prefer it at 60. The key to this tune was taking away all of the Toe. Rarely does that work, especially in an RR car. No mileage upgrades were done to the car.

Track - Mount Panorama
Horsepower (hp) - 138
Torque (ft-lb)- 114.2
Weight (lbs) - 1,576
Drivetrain - RR
Tires - Sport: Soft
ABS - Default
Countersteering Assist - Off

Negative Camber Angle - 0.0 / 3.5
Toe Angle - Out 0.00 / In .00

Rear LSD - 5 / 5 / 60
Transmission (No Transmission 'Trick'):

Your tunes have had me creating new liveries. I think my favorite of all the ones you've done so far is the 3.0 Supra. I did 9 repaints/rim swaps for it.

I've been wanting to create a "J-Sports Meeting" lobby on all 4 of the Japanese tracks. I want to include N100-400 Japanese cars. I'd love to include N500 and N600, but feel those might be too powerful (would anyone drive a de-tuned NSX). I'll definitely be linking to your tunes. I just wish there was a way to lock out the power and weight while still allowing everything else to be tuned.

Yea the online lobbies in GT have always left a lot to be desired. We can't, that I know of (not that I tried too hard to look) specify a car in a lobby either. But, I think you can set the power and weight restrictions to be the exact specs of the car you want, throw in the class restriction and that may work for you.

Yeah, I tried doing that with my GT Pantera League. I kept getting people that didn't even know what a Pantera was. Only 2 people (fellow GTP members) actually followed the lobby specs.

Would you ever be down with participating in this hypothetical "J-Sports Meeting" lobby? Figured it'd be a good spot to showcase all of your Japanese tunes.

My time is pretty limited, tbh. Normally I have just from about 7pm to maybe 9pm pacific time, including weekends.

Feel free to send a friend request on PSN at some point. My username is the same. Maybe if we happen to be on at the same time, we can knock out a quick race.

Really hoping that we get a few more classic GT1 entries in this game: '90 NSX, '96 GTO Twin Turbo, '97 Integra Type R, and the '97 Civic Type R to name a few. It would really flesh out the options for this lobby I want to start.

Hah, I've wondered the same thing forever. They are so slow that I can't image they generate much understeer/oversteer that couldn't be swiftly corrected on the fly. I did a combo at Suzuka east in SM a while back, that seemed to drive well IIRC. I've got tomorrow off and hired a babysitter for the day so I'll have some time to tune. Any other cars you want me to tackle? I've only got a couple high powered N cars left on my list.

Alfa Romeo MiTo, Suzuki Swift, basically some of the smaller cars in the game.

As for high-powered, the SEMA Chevy Nova and the newer Dodge Viper iteration.

So I recorded my session while tuning the MiTo car and it cropped off the first 15 mintues :banghead:

I'll just post the tune I guess.

Sorry to hear about that. The tune is great, though.

Funny story: I once tried to tune the MiTo, but I made it lighter than it needed to be. Each time I hit a breaking point, the freaking car would flip over. Made for a pretty hilarious replay video.

Toyota MR2 GT-S - N200
This car has so much potential for racing real life; its small, powerful and an MR, not to mention the price tag. In GTS I think she's probably OP, but I know she's temperamental when you apply the gas too aggressively before she's settled into the apex. Keep that in mind on tight turns and you'll be fine. She's a blast to drive, I took the tune to Tsukuba and she drove well there too, it should be a universal tune. No mileage upgrades were done to the car.

Happy to see you tuned this. Yea, I was driving this car untuned on one of the Sport events, I had bumped it up to N300 since that was the requirment. It was very hard to drive and was unstable but man if you got the cornering just right with the throttle it was seriously fast. I would also agree to say its a little bit OP but you can easily spin out with it if your not careful so I say that kinda cancels it out haha. Cant wait to get home to try the tune out. I know it will for sure help me improve my laptimes and races with it.

Hey Jerome. Hope you had a nice 4th of July. Could I request a McLaren MP4-12C tune?

You could drive this beast stock in GT6 but now it's just a beast to drive in GTS.
Thanks. :D

Sure man, I'll see what I can do with her :)

McLaren MP4-12C - N600

When I started the tune, I was certain I would have to have the Braking Sensitivity turn up at least some, but she drives fine with it at 5. She's a caged beast mid corner; you really feel her power but the cage I put her in is (nearly) unbreakable. This should be fun on any track, just remember to brake very early and don't touch the gas pedal when braking (she'll slide). Lift to turn responsiveness is fun too (especially at Maggiore). No mileage upgrades were done to the car.

Track - Autodromo Nazionale Monza
Horsepower (hp) - 600
Torque (ft-lb)- 465.0
Weight (lbs) - 2,976
Drivetrain - MR
Tires - Sport: Soft
ABS - Default
Countersteering Assist - Off

Negative Camber Angle - 0.0 / 2.5
Toe Angle - In 0.15 / Out .15
Downforce -
Front LSD -
Rear LSD - 5 / 5 / 5
Transmission (No Transmission 'Trick'):
Top Speed - 211
1st - 3.321 / 57
2nd - 2.282 / 83
3rd - 1.712 / 111
4th - 1.348 / 142
