I've literally been kicked out of 5 lobby's in the space of 10 min.

They were all free run lobby's e.g. Nurburgring track day etc and they keep kicking me :( I didn't do anything wrong, just joined, turned off all assists and drove off by myself in my Lamborghini Aventador.

I was in a room earlier with five other random's, Two iv raced with before and they all rammed me off, Guess what was the link here.

The Aventador.

Yeah I felt like I was in a X2010 or something, The V12 Vantage don't get the same abuse even though some say it has to much grip and should be fixed.

I haven't actually drove the new vantage yet so i wouldn't know :/

I only kick people if I don't know them, and they enter the track in something with total disregard for what the room is about. If the title of the room is "RX-7 TC PRIVATE", you should know that:

1) It's a private room, why did you enter?
2) If you enter the track in anything other than an RX-7 TC....goodbye.

They were all free run road cars only.

And what if the room was called "550pp clean&fair"
Would I be wrong in thinking that my Aventador is ok to use and that if I don't ram I can stay and race, but then I find out I'm the only one not ramming.

The other day I left a room to build a car, When I went back to the room the host had a hissy fit, Saying F off no one likes you here all because he didn't like my leaving auto comment, That wasn't rude or abusive and had been there for a year+ cause i forgot all about it haha

All I want to do is drive on nords with other people don't care if i win or lose (mostly lose).

If you want a private room, why not use the private launch?
There might be a good reason, but I don't do a lot of online racing so I'm curious.

Yes you would be kicked, the Aventador is NOT a 550pp car even using power limiter is wrong, that car should be raced against like minded cars of same catagory.
Strangling a Aventador with the power limiter down to 550pp to compete with other cars that are really only average sports cars is wrong and probably why you where kicked.
If you want to race your Aventador, go in rooms where cars of a similar class are racing IE Mclarens,Ferraris, and other lambo's.
Race in a 550pp then cars cars from that area IE NSX '02, Acura HSC etc.

Then you shouldn't be kicked.

You will find a lot of hosts in open lobbies are playing/racing with there mates. And if for example there all in Scoobies and Evo's around 600pp, You enter and go on track in a FGT,2010,Aventador,Ferrari etc and so on, then you get kicked and dont understand why, when its blatently obvious.

The trick is enter room and ask what pp or Bhp is and if your chosen car isn't whats being used then ask the host if ok to use, be polite till you get to know each other and the rest of the clan in there.

Ive never been kicked from a room, Just use a bit of common sense and all will be fine.

Edit And dont go into a lobby and ask the host strait away to up pp to suit yourself, Bide your time, as above get to know the host talk a little between races and enjoy yourselfs.

Failing all that go start your own lobby and then you have the reins. 👍👍

I don't think you read everything I said, I wasn't kicked out I was rammed off the track by everyone,

To clear up the Aventador shouldn't be in the room, There was race cars and other super cars of the same level to the Aventador obviously limited in there to, So I wasn't just being dumb and picking a silly car to race against BMW M3's and NSX's,

This was kind of my point i was rammed off cause it seemed like they didn't like the car cause it was DLC they didn't have like others have pointed out,

Also just cause you think power limiting is wrong doesn't mean I shouldn't do it to my cars if I wish to.

Online racing is entirely broken for me due to such behavior.
I have a history of racing simulators with a big part being online racing since the days of GP Legends and EA F1 mods.
I am always a very clean gentleman racer, taking racing and polite behavior very, very serious.

I am so fed up by the whole GT5 online racing experience, that I simply do not race online anymore.

The loading time and completely lockup of the game to join a room, resulting in getting kicked for absolutely no apparent reason is too frustrating.
Back in the time, when I was racing in open rooms with GTR and alike, I found a very nice, clean room with serious, competitive racing and polite competitors with civilized manners with ease, whenever, I wanted.
GT5 for me really could come without the online racing portion (I am sad, to state that).

I do not really have the time, to dedicate to league racing or joining a group of racers, who schedule private races.

This is very sad, especially as of the lack of a competitive Ai, to race against.

I wouldn't worry too much about being kick for no reason because they are probably not worth racing against.

The best solution is to host your own rooms.

I don't get why people label public rooms as private. If you only want to race with friends then do it in your own lounge and not on an open lobby. Grant it, I respect the rooms titled as private and don't join them but you really should be taking advantage of using you personal lobby.

Eric, I couldn t say it any better!

Worst case is when room owner is bitter loser, they kick you just because they can't drive. Like some french kicked me today, he was unable to brake into last right-left combination on Nurburgring. On long straight I managed to got on to 1st position, he was behind me very close, I started to brake but he just went through me as ghost and smashed into crash barrier as penalty was set to high. After the race he rage-kicked me.

Public rooms are a pain in the a**e, if you really want to race properly then join a league, as long as you are clean and have good race ethics then youll have a bunch of like minded guys to race with in private lounges and will be off the radar away from the morons you inevitably find in open rooms

( I may be generalising and i know there are good guys in open rooms, but more often than not you have to run the gauntlet of idiot rooms to get to the good clean racers )

Probably because you can't drive Silent, lol. Just joking my friend. But yea, that sucks. Thats why I don't play online much anymore because of the low mentality of people that seem to be playing online these days. Anyways, nice to talk to you again Silent and sorry to hear about your bad luck online.

You shouldn't use open lobbys for private races anyway, use your own lounge, simple...

Clean good racing is a good thing I have a room open nearly all the time any uk can join its good fun
