Kart and custom tracks online?

When I play online with my friends, we love to race the karts but we have to choose full size car tracks like autumn ring or london because we cant find the kart tracks or player made tracks.

Any idea when I'll be able to, if it's even possible at the moment?

I think it needs to be unlocked in offline be at least 1 lobby member. I couldnt use nuremburgring 24h until someone joined with it unlocked.
