Yeah having issues at Kart Space 1 with the 100cc Kart. Anyone got a setup that will work with the DS3? I have golded the other two, and I have silver on the Kart Space 1. Thanks for any help, all.

Thanks to the good advice here and on another forum, race 1 & 3 from utterly impossible became quite easy: 75 MPH, 10 kg ballast at 50%, driving steadily and without forcing it or applying excessive sharp turns, learning when to push and when not, learning when to brake hard. During Race 1 of 6 laps, I even crashed into a barrier around half way and had to reverse, dropped back to 4th and still managed a win if not very comfortable.

You can do it suba1960 I just won by a 1 second in that race with my G27.

Thanks hall90...yes i know that i can do it but its very hard with ds3,buttons....i need a very good lap....i hope that it will comes soon....to be continued

hey man I understand your frustration. Key for me was keeping my tires cool, smooth steering, and getting a good head start.

If you have your gearing set right, it should be possible to shave off 1-2 seconds each lap with ease.
It takes practice.
The fastest lap is not necessarily the one where you can stay on the road at the highest speed. You might need to brake earlier to shave your corners a little.
My suggestion is look at some videos and compare to the line you're taking around the course.

I've just finally finished the 125cc International A race..and the Shifter descriptions make that seem like a walk in the park. Not looking forward to it..

It never even occurred to me that you could change the gearing on a kart.
Having said that, is there a good tune for the Shifter series. Can easily win the 1st race over and over but always crash out in race 2 and 3.
I know the gearing wont win it unless the kart is driven correctly, but every little bit helps.

And hey, Happy New Year to you all.

PS, After winning the 1st race, coming 2nd in the second race and not completing the 3rd race I came 3rd overall in the Shifter championship. Thought that would complete the Int' A races and allow me into the Super series.

But no, find there is the S licences to do first..
