“’Drifting’ and ‘Autocross’ is for the weak. We only do maximum velocity.” -Unknown Mid Night Club member.
Whether or not you agree with that statement, you have to admit that the Mid Night Club (“Middo Naito Kurabu” in Japanese), was one of the best street racing crews that ever existed, not only for their high standard of driving and cars, as well as their 180mph-200mph exploits, but also for their extreme emphasis on the safety of other road users. Welcome to Kaza’s Mid Night Club, a highway racing club taking inspiration from Wangan Midnight, Tokyo Xtreme Racer, and the legendary Mid Night Club.

· Please follow the rules concerning vehicles, which can be read below.
Any member found to be in violation of these rules may be given a warning. The warning system works as follows:
1st Offence: Caution, no action taken against the offender
2nd Offence: 1 lobby ban, offender will not be allowed to join the next lobby

4th Offence: Permanent club ban, offender will be removed from the Members List and will not be allowed to join any club lobbies
Tracks & Events
As a highway racing club, H&K’s Mid Night Club will primarily race on Special Stage Route 7. Events will also be hosted on Special Stage Route 5, as a C1-type stage. Occasionally, lobbies will be hosted on Special Stage Route X to allow members to tune their cars for maximum speed. As a Hakone-style track, the recently-released Circuito de la Sierra will play host to touge racing, with a possibility for more touge events in the future.
There will be several different types of events held in club lobbies:
Cruise: In a free-roam lobby, members can drive however they want, wherever they want, and generally have a good time. Other events will be launched from cruises.
Battle: A race across one lap (SSR7) or three laps (SSR5) to find the fastest car and driver.
Speedtrap: A speedtrap will be set up at the end of the tunnel at SSR7. Members line up at the beginning of the tunnel and set off one at a time to see how fast they can blast through the speedtrap. The winner is the fastest car at the end of the tunnel.
Time Attack: An SSR5 and SSR7 event where the goal is to set the fastest lap time around the highway loop.
Duel: Two cars race from one end of the highway to the other on SSR7, or from one Parking Area to another on Sierra. First car to arrive at the agreed finishing point wins the duel.
Cars
One of the aims of this club is to encourage a variety of cars. If someone wants to drive a car that they are comfortable with and they like driving, then that’s great, but it would also be great to see many different cars showing up. However, in the interests of fair competition, there are a few restrictions that are in place to ensure that the playing field is as even as possible.
Restrictions:
Events will be restricted with power allowed from anywhere between 500HP and 800HP. A weight limit of 900kg will also be enforced, as will a limit on tires to Sports Soft or lower.
Vehicles must be street legal at the time of purchase. No race cars, Touring Cars, D1 cars or vehicles otherwise illegal to drive on the street will be allowed.
No supercars. We don’t want a McLaren F1 or a Huayra showing up to these events, and those driving supercars will be asked to drive another car. Repeat offenders will be warned. Some supercars may be permitted, and will be added to the permitted cars list.
Some cars may exhibit a higher level of performance than others in particular races. These vehicles will be allowed to race, but will be added to a Restricted Access List. A member who wins with such a car will be asked to retire the car for the rest of the session.
Cars from tuning companies (Amuse, RE Amemiya, Nismo etc.) are allowed as long as they comply with the regulations.
Nitrous is currently prohibited. There are no current plans to allow it, though this may change in the future.
As of the current version of this club, the following cars are permitted:
Japanese: Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, Toyota and tuned cars are allowed. More Japanese cars may be permitted in future.
American: Chevrolets are currently allowed. More American cars may be permitted in future.
European: RUFs, Mercedes-Benzes, BMWs, Lotuses and Lamborghinis (with certain cars on the restricted access list) are currently allowed.
Restricted Access List:
Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C7
Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG
Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4
Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV
Lobbies Hosted
I plan to run a regular lobby every Saturday night, from 19:30 to 21:30 GMT. Lobbies may be hosted at any other time by KazaMR2. Notice of these lobbies should be given two days prior.
The next scheduled lobby will be hosted: Saturday 13/12/2014 @ 19:30 GMT
