But how I can be in 93 position if I got silver trophy?
93 means no prize at all...
No, it doesn't work that way. You could be last on our list and still get gold, if all of us are below 3% of the worldwide #1 time. We are just a small subset of the overall population of drivers. What drives your medal is your time compared to the worldwide #1 time.

But having this time I was expecting to see myself in the middle of other silver drivers... or I am still not understanding your explanation...

You're about two thirds down our list, which is not completely unexpected, as you were 4.18% off gold, so slightly more than halfway between 3% (gold) and 5% (where bronze starts). But our group is only around 190 people, so a relatively small sample size.

Well, but my question was why I shouldn't appear in position 60 with my time (1:46.673) while you are reporting me in postion 93...
This is what I am not understanding...

You are looking at the interim results there. You need to look at the final results.

I am deeply sorry, I don't even have a '88

If memory serves me correctly, one was given as a reward somewhere in the singleplayer campaign (with 0 kms for a pre-2001 car to boot), don’t you have that one?

Good fun at the Willow, with full cheat start. I shall now watch this time drop down to probably 1,000th or so over the next two weeks.

For those who usually use CSA, I would recommend not using it here. It helps a little in some places, but really holds you back in corners where slight oversteery slides help.

You're right Mate. I had to use TC1 & CSA just to get the best out of the first fast flowing turns of Trial Mountain TT. In the middle sector these assists were of no use as well.

My brother and I were less than 2 tenths apart with the GT-R Z-Tune on Kyoto: a 1:45.480 vs a 1:45.461. Now, you wouldn't think that the gold time would fit between such a tiny margin do you? Well it did and I got in by a whisker thin margin of 0.002 seconds! My brother can't believe it.

Kinda glad to get a safe silver given how hard that NISMO one turned out to be. THe 4C is a safe gold and I have just tonight to see how I fare at Willow Springs before I am gone for 2 weeks.

On paper, i will struggle, I do better with more grip rather than less.
Annnnnd 3.03pc dammit. I just couldn't find the blast half second before bed time, annoying but is what it is.

Just out of curiosity, do these world record holders frequent GT Planet regularly? For example, Falcon_Naifx from Saudi seems to be quite often 1st.

Must be time for PD to delete all results and let's... rotate the board!

Tidge says "I don't know whether you're going to get banned or not" in his video. Would be a bit overkill but also somewhat amusing if we all got the banhammer and one of the innocent few could take the P1 🚀

I’m not sure why anyone would get banned for using the the game as was allowed by the way it was setup.

Possibly could be considered unsporting but not against the games own rules.

I find it kind of a funny situation tbh 😝

So far, the best speed I can manage is 82mph across the starting line. I bet someone who takes the L on their first lap by clearing all the cones out of the way would find a more optimal line by not having to dodge through them and eek out another 0.01 or something!

It could make it worse depending on how the cones fall - the "invalidated lap" thing sticks to the cone (!). I hit a cone back off the wall and onto the racing line at grand valley a while back (in the lancia), and hit it whilst on the racing line next lap and it got invalidated 😂😂

Improved my lap by 1.1s this afternoon, not all of that is thanks to the cheat (I think it's worth about 7 tenths so still a good improvement for the rest of the lap! )
