Is PDI PD Incorporated? I got confused with that because I thought of the Karts and got confused :crazy:

But I was also wondering this as well, maybe it's another DLC package that the people who have already purchased multiples of the same DLC will just get for free, and we will have to pay for it.
 
I was thinking about this too. I thought it meant all the DLC packs.
 
Like would i be able to just get the 12$ pack and get this "Christmas present" also or would I have to buy 18$ worth of DLC?
 
What multiple DLC's should mean is that there will be more packs released before Christmas, which is the topic of the most recent news story Jordan posted. That's how I look at it, at least 👍.
 
I thought that this gift would be to consolidate those who bought DLC on multiple accountson a single system. As we now know they want to fix this by December, allowing all accounts to utilize the DLC. So this is something Kaz will have to clarify once again.
 
but what if i only buy one DLC and it's the bundle? because that is like buying multilple DLC but in a money saving pack... get what im asking?
i understand if i buy this and another but i don't know if i will have money to buy the next DLC.
 
Ya but we don't know what exactly he meant, but the gift announcement came on the heels of the uproar of people being ticked off that they have to buy the DLC multiple times because they choose to race on different accounts on the same system. So this question needs to be clarified by Kaz sooner or later. I already know I'm purchasing for 2 accounts.

Oh don't forget the "R" in the grille lights up red.
 
A "pimpmobile" from the early 70's would be awesome. Big Cadillac Eldorado, horns on the front, furry dash, big whitewall tires, 3 tons and 400 hp, drives like a tank.

Yep, probably multiple DLC's. Don't you think they are going to start pumping them out now that they know that everyone will jump in and pay 20% of what the whole game cost for just one track and a few cars (and they even screwed up the cars and forgot to put LSD on them)? They have a gold mine and you can bet they will exploit it.

In this little clip from the Kazunori Yamauchi Addresses GT5 DLC Complaints, Update Coming in December news post, I have a question i haven't seen asked.

Kaz says "Next, don’t get your hopes up too high, but PDI is also readying a X-mas present for those who’ve already bought multiple DLCs."

does this mean i have to buy more than one DLC or can i just buy the Bundle pack? i love Christmas presents :)

Multiple DLC's could mean:

a) those who've bought f.e. the track & the car DLC pack or the complete DLC pack
b) those who've bought 2x the same DLC pack, f.e. the paint DLC pack (remember, some have accidently bought it twice or multiple times)

I expect something like a free paint DLC pack, a boring car like the Toyota FT-86 II Concept or they giving away a free Stealth car like they did now for the US guys. Cheers Signature Edition buyers. :dunce::cheers:
 
I agree with the poster above, more than likely to be a Stealth car at the very most.

Due to the context of the article, which discusses a new feature allowing one paid DLC to be used on different accounts on the same PS3, it sounds to me like the Christmas present is meant as a way of "reimbursing" people who have bought duplicate copies of the same DLC so that they could use it on different accounts. I would not expect that buying 1 copy of multiple DLC packs, or the everything pack, would grant you the gift.
 
I hear some of the cars will not allow you to adjust the LSD. What’s up with that PD???????

Also, after the PSN blackout some months ago, (due to possiable cyber theft) my password will not work.
When I attempted to change it to update my credit card information for use the PSN was down for maintenance.
So I will not be able to get the DLC. At least for now.

But after the LSD crap, not sure I want the “Car Pack” anyway. I mean come on, cars with no LSD adjustment….please.
Hopefully it’s not every car in the download. I think I would like SPA and the cart track looks like it would be fun.

Finally, when will GT1, GT2 and GT3 type Race Mods and color schemes find their way to GT5?
You should be able to Race Mod whatever car you want provided the car actually runs in a legit racing event. Check these links for an example....

I already bought the complete pack plus an extra paint pack, just to try to ensure I get the "present". Maybe it's the Chromeline Jaaaaaaaaaag.

Also, tried the flourescent yellow-orange on my old (headlightless) kart. It doesn't look all that different from the Bahama Yellow that was on it before.
