I noticed while I was going through the tuning options while trying to tune my ZR1 to perfection for Nurburgring that there is no tire pressure tuning!
I just thought this was a really basic element of tire telementy and it effects all aspects of your tires, how they heat up wear and grip.
Not to start a flame war or anything but Forza 3 had this option (just saying).
Dont get me wrong, Total GT fan boy here since GT3:tup:

ps. Give us some damn tuning save options

Yes, in Forza 3 you can change the tire pressure, but there is no difference when you change it:sly:

It increases or decreases grip actually.

I find adding sports soft and racing softs equals a full suspension and aero mod in GT.
I love the sports hard and racing hard. IMHO they are the best for giving a nice challenging drive. Better than any of Forzas tires.
As soon as the softs go on, it's as though the car has had a major downforce upgrade and the tires grip like Buggery.

Not a biggie, as I only equip hards unless bobs doing his thing.

thats an interesting way of keeping it challenging i just use a car with less horsepower cuz the AI suck that bad

And the ECU and cat upgrades on classic cars in GT5 are so much more realistic...

I had to shake my head when I saw those options the first time. In a game that won't even let you put after market wheels on most cars it's quite silly.

As for tyre pressure. Tuning on the whole in GT is quite weak. It's barely moved on from what I remember of GT1. I don't like upgrading cars on it. Partly because it feels I'm loosing the sensation of driving a real stock car but mostly because it doesn't feel like I've actually tuned a car, more that I've turned on some performance and handling assists.

They've messed about adding a 'watch the weak AI now drive YOUR cars!' simulator. They've taken time to build a 'take photo's of fake cars in fake environments' simulator. Two elements that I personally feel add no value to the game, where as if the tuning aspect of the game had actually been an immersive, simulated experience rather than blow your cr on a bunch of boosts then move some sliders about and viola your car is better, I suspect people would have been happier.
