Launched at Geneva, this Provo concept is apparantly a Scirocco sized coupé despite its stocky profile making it appear a lot shorter.
It has 4WD and is a hybrid blahblahblah but just look at it, I've long respected Korean brands as being good quality and have grown to appreciate their recent quantum leap in design language yet I never got excited by them (just nicely build, recently nice looking cars).
This one however ticks all the right boxes both inside and out (even the colour scheme is spot on) and although it's a concept, the design doesn't look too far fetched for a production car bar some details perhaps.

The only thing that needs a redesign is the badge, make a more modern edgy Kia logo and build the darn thing!

The badge totally destroys that rear. It should just be 3 letters without the black oval. Or nothing at all.

That's what I meant, the letters KIA on the wheels however (without a surrounding oval) look perfectly fine.
 
I quite like this design. It reminds me a bit of a Mini (maybe something to do with the roof), but that's no bad thing. I also quite like the funky quilted interior.. which is strange, because i can't stand the quilted interiors of Spykers. I'm thinking that's some kind of dial shifter (think Honda already experimented with that a while back).
 
Fantastic looking. What could they spawn from this? A Scirocco fighter?
 
Wow that does indeed look great! Kia sure has come a long ways. Since its 4x4 it would be a very fun car all year round even in the snow.
 
Kia and Hyundai have both really come a long way, 10 years ago putting the words "Kia" "Hyundai" and "buy" in the same sentence would get you laughed at.. I quite like the look of this though.
 
It also has, for the lack of a better description, dynamic lights which I doubt will reach production stage. :lol:





I've mentioned it to be a Scirocco-sized or type of car before (that's what I first read in CarMagazine) but it's more often compared on other sites to a MINI-rival or even the Juke (don't see it as a Juke-rival myself though).
Maybe it's something like the Juke (in that there's nothing like it as a genre) and they simultaneously trying to tempt Scirocco/or similar coupé buyers and the MINI/DS3-crowd which could be a smart move.

I was think the same thing, it looks kind of like the Coupe.



It doesn't look that bad and I kind of like it.
 
I wonder .. what would be the application for the "dynamic" headlights? Apart from obviously switching to high/low beams.
 
Screams mini to me. Definitely interesting.....not sure about it just yet though.

I'm in the same boat. I'm not sure that I like it yet, but it's wonderfully original and for that I give it the 👍

To be honest, I didn't like it at first. But the more I look at it, the more I want one. Good job Kia.

I just don't like the interior all that much.
 
IMO its trying to hard, Kia doesnt make exotic cars like this. The interiour seems far fetched.
