KH is harder than its sequel in my opinion. Though that Sephy is a bit easier on you in the tournaments.

How so? I mean, isn't "Chain of Memories" supposed to be the hardest one?

KH is much harder than KH2. CoM is hard, but in its own way - once you sort out the combat system, it is fairly straight forward for stuff. KH2 is more fun in my opinion than KH, but that is just due to the refined gameplay and cleaned up combat system and such. Plus the drive modes are fun.

And nk4e is right about Sephiroth as well.

I prioritized Magic and dropped Defense when I played the first one. It is a bit of a pain at first but the combo of getting magic back when you get hit and then being able to spam spells is nice later on.

I would just do the air combo over and over again. The bosses never knew what was coming.

Getting ultima weapon in KH2 is easiest after collecting
every treasure chest in the game -> all items that you need
to make the keyblade.

Beating sephirot in KH1 is alot easyer than in KH2

Here's how to do it in KH1 :

1st elixirs in every slot availeble
2nd accessories that increase max mana
3rd eguip skills Ragnarok and Sonic Blade .
Those skills give you "special advantage"
(also needed the skill that closes up distance)
4th Any key blade will do, some with high melee power
(Pumpkinhead for example)

When the match vs Sephiroth starts just use
the special move that's availeble 1st,
after the move is over quicly execute same move again.
When out of mana just use elixir and continue doing this until Sephirot dies .

In KH2 you need to learn the rythm of
Sephiropt's attacks to be able to defeat him.

I think KH2 can be beaten in about 20 hours
as all the bosses are about reaction commands.

KH2 can be beaten within 7 hours if you know what to do,14 including breaks. I have seen it happened..which is scary.

Devastating. So it can be done at 1 session that fast :D

What do you people think about the Anti-Form?

Extremely annoying. Which is why I use Final Form a ton later on as Final Form usage reduces the chances of entering the Anti-Form...

I find it amusing especially when at boss fight or at Hades Paradox Cup :D

It losses that sense of amusing once you need to heal and you can't. You take twice as much damage in Anti-Form and can't use magic or items...

I find it most effective just attack if facing only few enemies.
and if eguipped the skill that allows to double hit the finishing move
the anti frorm wíll be real hyper speed attacker + finishing move hits multiple times really fast.

Also I prefer using Fenrir+Negative Combo instead of combo and air combo plusses. Ah, skill berzerk is really cool
when combined with horizonal slash and executed when charging mana +
jumped in midair = endless Horizonal Slash or as long as mana isn't recovered fully. This move can finish off any boss really fast. (Even Sephirot)

Quick question; why aren't the "Diamond Dust" & "One Winged Angel" keyblades in Kingdom Hearts 1? I mean, Chain of Memories had them as attack cards, and the game has the EXACT same keyblade cards as Hearts 1! Why is this?:boggled:

I've seen those 2 keyblades on some list of all blades availeble in KH1 ,
but there was a catch.. only availeble in sertain version of the game. (such as japanese version)

Heh, younger Brother was playing this downstairs today, through for the second time. He's currently fighting the horde of Heartless and Nobodies in Hollow Bastion.

"The battle of 1000 Heartless", is that the one you're talking about Jim? Oh, by the way Jim, be sure to tell your brother not to face Sephiroth UNLESS he either has at least 1 Megalixir and 2 Elixirs AND is at least LV75, AND he has "Oblivion" or "Ultima Weapon" equipped! Trust me, he'll know why... Also to MadMax86, are you referring to the "Final Mix" game I've heard about? And one more thing; how do I defeat the... thing... that's outside of the Neverland Clock Tower? Every time I've fought it, it ended up taking my partners' hearts AND mine! What do I do?

yes

And one more thing; how do I defeat the... thing... that's outside of the Neverland Clock Tower? Every time I've fought it, it ended up taking my partners' hearts AND mine! What do I do?

Easyest way to defeat it is to have mage (Donald) as friend choise,(sometimes he casts the right spell to break the orb)
eguip items that increase MP. max elixirs just in case of need.(optimal would be Ulatima Weapon+Crystal Crowns )
Put skills Fire, Ice, Lightning and Heal as Fast choises for magic skills.

Now, how to beat the thing:
I'm not sure if I remember this right,
but the clock is needed to be stopped first to avoid DOOM.
The creature carries a orb whitch you need to attack by magic to break it.

And here's how:
use skill "Wind" = protection+damages the orb at close contact.
Mainly you need to try to match the colour of the orb by your magic,(red->use fire, blue -> use ice yellow/colorless -> use lightning)
so that it will shatter -> makes the thing voulnurable to normal attacks -> Combo Time
Every time the clock starts ticking just go to clock tower and attack the
"clocks's hands" so that it stops.

short version: use Wind (recast when old fades), stop the clock, break the orb and finish off the thing .

I hope this quide helps you complete this special mission.

regards

MadMax

"Quide"? That's a cool word! I even know what it means too. So I guess that's a new word I learned today, thanks!👍 (NOTE)- no sarcasm here, I'm trying to find new words to the "Bennett's big book of cool words to use!" that I created!
