Yeah, I was gonna say that. It looks good, but too soft, looks like they were both vectored a lot. Try and make your pics sharper dude! I gotta say though, not bad. ENOUGH WITH THE SUBARU'S!

Damn, I just noticed theres no shadows. I'll rework the pic more and make it a little sharper. Cant help myself with the subarus though.

And why your at it could ya write up a step by step guide on how you did that pic? And send to me??

lol, joking, anyway add some shadows and it'll be so sweet as..

Good work, the Subaru is always a beautiful car to have in pics. Nice work with the color, keep up mate!

The lighting seems a bit off for that setting, but it's still nice.
Also the front of the rear wheel is odd, and the car should be touching the reflection.

Still, it's great.

I would definetely make some kind of dark shadow between the two. Than what I think would be cool would be to use a distortion filter, like an ocean ripple or something to make it look like water. And maybe even distort it a perspectively longways before you ripple it, and than distort it back after you ripple it so it will give it a sense of depth with the ripple. That may have sounded confusing, but I could go more in depth.:)

great idea krame! i agree about the shadow thing but its just a minor issue. aside from the shadow it looks great! heres how i THINK he did it, in a nutshell. cut the car out, duplicate the car, flip vertical (180 degrees), add layer mask, gradiant reveal from middle to bottom. the background im guessing that was done with a gradiant tool.

this is a good page to return from a gtp hiatus to. the comp entries are superb and the subie is saved to my computer. can i make a request for a pic like that?

Because of the angle and the colour of the floor
its better to add a fake bottom over the reflection
you may also wanna add a fake left wheels
so that the car looks like really on this space instead of 2D paper board on the ground
the reflection could be free transformed a bit to make the bottom part a bit smaller to get the sense of the angle
my another advice is to make the bottom part of the reflection slightly blurred for realism
Hope these tips can help you making a better shot next time
Good idea anyhow 👍

Its been a while, but I see you haven't been resting on your laurels Krame! The beast in Shibuya set is awesome! The reflections on the car are superb, my faves are the 1st and 3rd. I really like the blurred Impreza rally car, it looks fantastic, the detail on the shot is excellent. 👍
I really like the lighting and angle of the Amuse S2000, it looks menacing! The drifting 350Z looks amazing, as does the... uh... little car (:dunce: whats it called again...? :dopey:). I like the 'Elegant subie' shot, but I agree with everyone else by saying that it lacks a shadow, Its still a fantastic looking shot though. Great stuff mate! Keep 'em coming!

Thanks for all the comments and crticism guys. Thanks for the great tips 440 and franz. I might try to fix this pic, but I'll probably just make something new like that pic from a different angle.

mmm that is indeed sexy, but what about the impreza 22b? the reflections are beautiful. got any more? :D

sorry about the short comment, im kinda exhausted. ive been working ~2-3 hours straight on my PD Tournament entry
