Kunos Continues to Tease Porsche Pack Finale for Assetto Corsa, Arrives Tomorrow

I think I speak for my console using brethren when I say...

Will Kunos ever release competition race cars to pit against the various Porsche race cars?
Really boring to run single class races. Where are the vintage McLaren, Chaparral's Fords, Lotus, Ferrari and the like?
Would be nice to fill out those classes like GT3 is.

And yes, even though I run both PC and Console for AC and PCars, it would be nice to throw the console owners a bone once in a while.

It would be epic if Kunos convinced Audi to let them model what would have been their 2017 LMP1 car had they not pulled out. Porsche vs Audi one more time at Le Mans...

Im excited to try the new 911 RSR GT3, the first mid engine 911 and a car that, according to specialists, will dominate GT3 for a while.

I'm not sure if you know that this car has been delayed and won't arrive in AC until January. The latest 911 Turbo S will take its place until then.

A Audi and a Toyota LMP1 are incoming. Maybe they get newer Models than those announced, who knows. Multiclass Racing now seems pretty necessary.

Wait, what?! No Audi next year? After over a decade of pretty much dominance? Why did they throw in the towel?

You sort of answered your own question, really. :P

Likely casualty of the whole VW Dieselgate scandal. Audi's focusing on Formula E now.

That, and the conspiracy theory that Porsche wasn't happy that Audi was getting close to breaking their all-time Le Mans win record.

Their withdrawal is nothing to do with their performances, not even related to the huge cost of a works LMP1-H team, just about the public image they want to portray. The program is not dead yet though, it's possible when the ACO press conference is made (usually early Feb) we will hear about some kind of Team Joest program using the new car for this season (Maybe without hybrid power though).
