Watching "Setup" season 2 on Speed, in the next to last episode one car got clipped in the right rear wheel, spun the car left sideways but the initial contact upset the balance of the car (left to right) and it barrel rolled about 6 times before coming to a rest on its side.

LOL. One of my best friends is on that show. I think tonight is the last episode. Look for "Junior" Johnson.:)

All we need now is the ability to go smack the guy who punts you off the road on the last lap. ;)

About damage.

Does anyone know if there is going to be only visible (structural) damage or also mechanical damage?

So, if you go to the dealer and buy a new VW golf for instance.. then take it to London Track, nose it into the barrier at turn one, are the Air bags going to go off in the in car view?

Will the LMP 1's take off of their own accord at high speed?

If the F1 cars can take damage, that could be evil to model... it's not like body panel deformation... the car basically disintegrates http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SsRes3PkRlI
