Wow...I am shocked at how fast the Gallardo is on this tire compound. Once again, I defer to your excellent driving! But, the fact that it is just behind it's big brother (or should I say the Aventador is more like a cousin, the Huracan would be the Aventador's little brother, no?) shocks me. As always, thank you for your service to the community SuzukaStar. I swear, if I hit a couple of hundred on a scratch ticket I'll send you my DFGT just so you can use a wheel to test. If anyone deserves a wheel, it's you. 👍

I'm not shocked by the Gallardo / Aventador low difference. The Gallardo can be thrown in with much more ease from what I recall. I expect the same kind of results on Trial Mountain.

Perhaps I should not have used the word shocked. Everybody knows that the Gallardo is extremely nimble and always holds it's own against the Aventador - except for the tracks with extremely long straightaways. The more turns/corners on the track, the more and more advantageous that is for the Gallardo.

What I probably should have said was -- I was expecting the gap to be a little bit wider, more like the gap between the Aventador and the 458 Italia. The Gallardo was an amazing car. Flagship Lamborghini's have become ridiculously priced, so thank god they starting making that additional, more affordable Lamborghini and now the Huracan is going to continue this new paradigm. I think the Huracan is probably the #1 car that I wish PD would give to us right now... I'm such a Lambo fanboy it's sad... :embarrassed:

The Gallardo carries 5.63 lbs/hp, or 0.60 lbs/hp more than the Aventador. That Gallardo also weighs a whopping 364 lbs less. The Aventador is a total straight-line beast, but a real dog around tight corners.

Yup. The funny thing is, from most of the video reviews I watched way back when the Aventador started shipping worldwide, the people driving the car would almost always comment about how much better the Aventador is compared to the Murcielago when it comes to handling. Now, everybody knows the Aventador is far from being a nimble car, so just imagine what the Murcielago must have been like...with all that horsepower it must be terrifying yet erection inducing all at the same time. :D

What I think is hilarious is the Huracan base model is actually faster around the Nurburgring Nordschleife according to FastestLaps.com. Now, I'm sure Audi..errr, Lamborghini has plans to make a gazillion different models of the Huracan, iincluding several rear-wheel drive hellhounds. How sweet is that?! Oh, how I wish the Huracan was in this game...

The slowest premium car at Laguna Seca is now officially the Fiat 500 F '68 by a whopping 5 seconds, despite having 17 more PP than the Schwimmwagen.

Dear PD, please make the Subaru 360 a premium for GT7.

Wow the 1:44 section is DOMINATED by Ferrari's...

Wow. I am VERY impressed that the Murcielago SV beat the Aventador. Normally, I would say anything three-tenths of a second or under could mean that the cars are nearly identical. Two-tenths could come down to a shift too early or too late, or perhaps a braking zone not hit perfectly, but with four-tenths of a second and your experience level, I'd say that you're probably right on the money. At this track/tire combo, the Aventador is the second fastest Lambo.

Well done, as always SuzukaStar!! 👍

On any given attempt, either car is faster than the other. It would take me dozens of laps to be 100% certain which car is fastest, but the Murcielago is certainly easier to drive. I only do about 5 laps before moving on.

The Murcie has 22 less lbs to push around, 30 fewer horses and 22 fewer torques. Its peak power arrives 500 rpm sooner, but peak torque is 1,000 rpm later.

The Toyota Aqua S '11 is actually pretty decent. Only a second slower than the sporty Honda Fit, and it gets waaaaaay better mpg! Digging the new v1.14 cockpit sound change as well.

If you have to choose between any of those cars, it appears the Z28 is the cream of the crop.

Those two cars actually share the exact same engine, it's co developped by PSA and BMW. The Mini may have a different map though. My father has the same engine in 160ch version in his Citroën.
