Just put a small video together with Tom explaining a Rolling start a little clearer. Rendering now, will upload later. Should be ready by 5pm, I render in very High Quality (1080p HD) so it takes ages.

LOL Is anyone up for a practice? or if you dont want to practice for next week a mess around? in any car but practice will be good

Sorry to be strict, but I have to reiterate what Europa has been trying to explain to you. Please try not to treat this thread as a chatroom, short messages inviting people to race in the immediate future is not going to work; the nice thing about forums is that you do not have to respond quickly like you do in chat.

It is also apparent that the overwhelming majority of your posts are directed at a single person, tomhart. Would it not make more sense to use the PM function to contact him rather than this topic? If you want to invite him to a lobby then PM him, I don't want to check this thread after seeing activity and find that it is you saying "do you want a mess about" 2 or 3 hours after it was relevant.

It should also be quite obvious that any information regarding the series is available on page 1 of this thread, I'm sure Europa would appreciate knowing that all his hard work is being useful. You should check it, it's a handy resource.

It may not be in the forum rules but as a regular forum user for nearly a decade it has become obvious that this is simple forum etiquette. Much like double posting, quote pyramids and minor posts.

I suppose this serves as guideline for everyone else, although no one else has been guilty of pure 'chit-chat'.

In no way am I trying to be Admin or a Moderator, I just want to see the proper use of this thread. Take trivialities to the Rumble-strip.

Jez0099 has not replied for about three days so I am going to open a position for someone to team with gtp_racing. I am on my phone right now and I do not dare aodjust the op until I get onto a pc.

Rolling start practices have gone well, a little sketchy but good for 1st time. We have just completed a 10 lap race. There is a lot of drama on the grid, drivers losing their cool. It is, however, a common part of motorsport, and we will practise for another hour or two depending on how long you guys want to stay!!
 
Good session guys,
We had most people show who said they would, with the exception of three.
The racing was a lot more relaxed, people didn't care too much about their position but in the real race we will have to try harder.

Remember, next week, whoever qualifys 6th or above will have to use Racing Hard tyres to start on.
 
Great session but I have a couple of questions.

1) What happened if there is a false start? Does that person get disqualified from the race, despite taking part in it

2) How is the tyre rule going to be audited? Same as above?

They will lose 5 seconds off their final position. Say they finished 4 seconds ahead of someone else, they would then end up behind them on the final score

Anyone who qualify's 6th and above starts on hards. Anyone below starts on softs. Everyone has to use both compounds.
