i likes Japanese cars but my favorite is BMW so my first car will be my brothers bmw or a AE86 hehe and then a bmw m3 csl go here to see my dream car (i will buy sometime) hehe :)

Japan of course! I have 18 DENSO SARD's all with different setups for different tracks and driving styles. Then at least 15 or so 787B's, everyone knows you could waste too much time changing the setups. (Yes I can tell the difference between them all by the wheels! Also the handling and top end speed for each track.) Anyway by the time you get through the JGTC cars and the many setups, the other cars are on a different memory card.

I CANT think on anything MORE boring than that.

Let me explain this to you...

If the game was made in the USA...
Then there is a extremely high chance that the majority of all the cars in the game will be American. Others will include noticeable sports cars from different countries; i.e. Nissan Skyline GT-R, Toyota Supra, Aston Martin Vanquish, Lotus Elise, Honda NSX, Pagani Zonda and so on...

If the game was made in Australia...
Then most of the cars would be Fords, Holdens and Aussie made cars. Others such as GT-R's, Vipers, Porsches etc will appear in minimalised (is that even a word?) form.

If the game was made in Germany...
Then most of the cars would belong to Porsche, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, RUF and so on.

You see what i'm getting at?
Now this will hopefully make you understand why there are so many Japanese cars.

EDIT: Colours make it look better. ;)

I like most of the European cars, except half of the British :D. But there are just way more Japanese cars in this game, including some really spectacular ones. I kinda like the Clio particularly though, nice balance, great looks.

not only is there too many Japanese cars in the game but Euro and Yank cars seem to be handicapped in order to make Japanese cars seem better....for instance..the Lotus Esprit turbo is famous as one of the best handling cars in teh world ever since the seventies, its very fast and can corner like a true race car...
however in the game its like driving with a bag of monkeys down your shorts!
whats with that??...there is no way that anyone needs that many Lancers eithers and compared to the ford Focus ( in real life rallies) they are serious crap..

Ummmm, um. Um. Why not just have ONE, and save the different setups for it? That way you could just load the setup you wanted at the time.

and so what? I mean, yeah, I know that if the game was made in -insert your favorite car-producing country here- it would have more cars from that country and they would be better than the other country's cars. but you seem to defend it, and I absolutely despise this. its LOGICAL AND OBVIOUS that there are more Japanese cars in the game because the game is made in japan, you shouldnt WASTE a post saying that. its something we ALL know and something we ALL could deduct after seeing the car list from GT3. if you think that that the game is made in japan JUSTIFIES that there are more Japanese cars in the game, PROGRAMMED TO BE BETTER than the other cars, you are ABSOLUTELY WRONG. this shoudnt happen. and its the only drawback of GT3.

I agree Cano, this game is billed as 'The Real Driving Simulator' so who did PD decide to INVENT the performance of the non Japanese cars? Seems that either they didnt do thier research of Euro cars or they wanted thier product to appeal to a mainly Japanese audience and to hell with the rest of the world.
If your making a definitive high performance racing game, why didnt they take thier time to secure the licence from arguably the greatest and most prolific manufacturer of race cars in the world to date...FERRARI? because they're Italian and not Japanese and they couldnt care less really...and what about Lamborghini? or Porsche and some of the classic TVRs such as the 350i and Lotus classics or the Jaguar e-type...some of the best cars ever made....well thank the lord as we have 37 Lancer Evo's and Subarus...perhaps that will make up for all the decent cars they missed out..!!..

i am not getting at PD, i love the game but it does has its faults...gaping big holes in their research and marketing..

There obviously is no evidence of this Arwen because that would put PD in a compromising position...however when you see Supras doing 10 laps of a technical course retaining perfect handling while not pitting-in, you gotta suspect the fairness of the game..

Well if the game was made in the USA and all the USA cars handled good, would you be complaining about all the US cars in the game? Seriously?

I know that GT3 has more Japanese cars than most and agree that it's not really fair. But if they had more time there is no doubt that there would be more non-Japan cars in the game.
