I'm thinking about doing the Le Mans 24-hour with a friend. We have narrowed the car choice down to the 787B or the Peugeot 908. Thoughts?

I think the 787B will be more fun to drive.;)

But the 787B is more difficult to drive I've heard. I think that you will win quite easy with the Peugeot. Then again, I you want a real challenge, use the Mazda. :D

That's a tough one.

A 787B is a lot more fun but the 908 is better to drive...I'd go for the 787B and have a ball. Even though judging by the AI you should be using a MODERN LM racer

I own both (along with every other LMP :)) and i must recommend the 787B. While it can be tricky to get used to, once you've got the hang of it the 787B can run with the best of them, that
s why i used it for this race.
However, before starting the race, have a good think about whether your friend is talented/persistent/friendly enough to deal with for 24h. While it sounds like a great use of a guys night, fatigue makes people irritable and the last thing you want is a 🤬 off friend walking off or worse during their stint.

EDIT: I nearly forgot i had wrote this in another thread..

Interior: 787B>HDI
Sound: 787B>HDI
Speed: HDI>787B
Handling: HDI>787B
Efficiency: HDI>787B
Challenge: 787B>HDI
Fun: 787B>HDI

Overall, the 787B is a better choice for Le Mans, as unlike the Nurburgring Enduro, the track gets boring quite quickly and keeping interested/awake can be a challenge. The 787B's challenging, unforgiving and fun handling style really helps keep the miles ticking over.
FYI: Both car's will easily demolish the AI in (nearly) anyone's hands.

Thanks guys. Very helpful
