Le Sarthe 24 hour weather patterns

Is the weather pattern for the 24 hour race completly random or are there a certain amount of pre set scenarios? I,m 11 hours into the race and its been 100% rain from the start. Anyone know when the sun comes up?

Usually around hours 13-15 is when the rain lets up for me. But it's completely random mostly.

I once raced with 100% rain at the beginning, completely dry by hour 7. Light rain around hours 10-12 and completely dry again but slight overcast for the rest of the way.

The race is at 4pm, sunrise is around 6 am, so you got another 3-4 hours of dark left approximately. Trust me, you're gonna love the sun rise.

Thanks for that, I,m suspending and saving the race every pit stop just incase of any problems. Do not want to risk losing the last 11 hours.

When I did the race, I didn't start it until I cycled it to start out sunny. It got cloudier throughout the whole race, and started raining at hour 21 or so. It differs for everybody, I'm sure.

Right, its nice that two people can do the same race but have completely different weather. It shows its not rigged at all. Some people can get a race that is 100% dry. It is rare but can happen, or 100% rain even. Also doing the suspend race is known to completely change the weather too.

Man ... mine wasn't bad. I had no rain up until a little after dark then there was a light rain for maybe 30-45 min and then it was gone for the rest of the race. I only briefly hit 1% on the track wetness indicator.

Mine did not rain at all. Lucky, I guess.
