Le Sarthe brake out

This is nothing new but I've been able to brake out at le sarthe twice on my own but due to impatience was not able to succesfully click any laps. (research for a spec 24 hour race)

Anyway, they are doing it yet again...

I've not seen a vid of a succesfull lap as of yet, so feel free to post your findings.
 
Great, now PD has to waste more time fixing this than being able to create content.

I have been wondering why pd is only bothering to fix each exploit as it becomes abused, there are plenty more of them, plenty. I would not say 'waste more time' they need to fix their game, we didn't create the brake out.
 
I knew this would come up in time. Meh, I have no reason to do this anymore, anyway.

It doesn't make a lot of sense to me either. They really need a change that would work for all tracks instead of going around patching each little hole when it is found. As it is now there is going to be no end to these glitches and patches. Possibilities would include more than 2 checkpoints per track or if a car goes more than a certain distance off course than it gets booted back on course.

It's "break".

And I'm sure they didn't know these existed until now. Obviously people that don't have a life can drive around riding the walls trying to find somewhere to break out. They're all completely missing the point of this game. 👎

Didn't know until now, meaning before the ssr7 right? Funny how people think it takes hours on end to find these things, it does not.

It was much harder to find them in previous installments of the series, sure there was no need to then, but people still did it.
 
This is my suggestion for PD, simple fix that will prevent all glitching in the future without the need for continuous fixes. If a car is detected outside of the track, set the players credits to 0 as punishment, also replace all their cars with VW Beetle's, :)

Come on glitchers, give it your best shot. :D

I have managed to break out of tracks on other games completely by accident, the one on le sarthe also looks like it could be done accidentally (using the veyron). So that does seem alittle unfair.
 
I don't understand why anyone gives a rats ass about the glitches anyways, sure someone else will have a bazillion fake dollars and every car in the game, but its not about "He who has the most toys at the end wins" its about who can drive and who can't.... :crazy: So if the children out there want to cheat and have 15 X1's and more money than brains let them and when they show up at the track you can just kick thier sorry little asses and send them away..... :indiff:
 
Thanks, hopefully i can continue build my collection of 4000+ cars.

PD is actually mean for patching these glitches (I am very serious yes).

Not about just having the cars, it's more about having the cars and driving them.
I don't want to spend weeks just to get one car.

Not really about that either, it's more about side stepping the tediousness of the game or maybe some just enjoy doing it.

I've known this for a while.

I know this is crazy but I'm starting to prefer GT when it didn't offer an online mode.
 
I actually find it rather offensive that they are CHOOSING to waste their time on 'fixing' this stuff. No one is forcing them to do it. The people glitching aren't hurting anybody, other than making some WAY-too-uptight people upset that they have to scroll through a few extra rooms, or that they had to work longer than someone else for their cars.

As stated, what they are doing won't stop this sort of thing anyway, they need to make some common sense changes to the overall system(some have already been suggested on this board). Plugging holes will only eventually make you realize you're looking at a screen door. There's so many things that ARE wrong/missing about the game, some of which could likely be taken care of without too much trouble, but instead they choose only to crack down on people trying to make the best solution they can to the horrible pacing of the game.

If there were more events to run, and they were more fun, and they payed better, that would cut out half the people doing it anyway.
 
Known this since January. You can also break the barriers on the Top Gear Test Track. You have to slide into the wall you see when you enter the track with an X1. It's really hard.
 
That scenery is actually something I would like to explore...

THANKS for this thread. No whining from me.

As many people that whine about others and how they play the game, the whambulance should show up and take there PS3 away for crying. Obviously GT5 is too hard for some because all they do is cry about others getting FAKE credits and FAKE cars and whine about it on this forum because they are jealous. Last time I tried to get 20 million credits out of my GT5 account my PS3 looked at me and laughed and told me I was crazy for thinking a game was real. IT'S A GAME PEOPLE. A car will only get as much money as someone is willing to spend not some value GT5 made up watch REAL car auctions. People worry about your own game not my game!!!!

Thanks again for sharing! Good news is my REAL LIFE is not effected if people glitch or cheat or just play the game. Oh and for all you whiners out there cry to PD and kaz as they spent 5 years on this good or bad, not the people actually playing. I guess PD should of just waited another 5 years testing for glitches??? I'm glad I have my game flawed and all and I can try to have fun. JUST WATCH OUT FOR THE FUN POLICE AS THEY DON'T LIKE PEOPLE HAVING FUN with or without the glitch. Take pride if you got to lvl 40 without glitching but try and sell that pride and you get nothing, oh wait you get a FAKE GT5 trophy for your PS3. Watch out Sebastian Vettel some fake car driving game playing expert is going to show you how to drive now that they are professional SIMULATION game race car driver who could only afford a game and NOT A REAL RACE CAR. Stop worrying about other people and worry about yourself. I don't care how anyone else plays GT5 it has no effect on my fun with FAKE CARS.

Instead of fixing each gitch as it appears, they should just make it so you can spend $5-$10 to have unlimited free stuff. Then there will be no need to glitch.

My only reason for playing this game anymore is just driving some of my favorite cars around the 'ring, and every time I have a way to make quick money so I can just have fun they decide to remove it.
