Is it possible that PD has given us a perfect grinding event. The new online b-spec race on La Sarthe gives 6milliom cr. when you have 200% bouns and takes roughly 40 minutes. Again I'm not an expert but this does seem like the best money making race available now.

Have you done it yet!?

A lot of people are having trouble winning it, it took me 6 attempts to win. Wasn't worth the hassle and time!

Unless you have good drivers
I try 2 time no luck
Try the first one 4m with 200% of course

Yes, it took me 4 times but it is easy once you have the car and the drivers. I chose the Pescarlo c60 hybride and pitted in lap 3 in 2nd place. In the pits the leader, an Audi r8, got held back by other cars and I jumped him. My best driver was now in the car and I set his speed at about 3/4 up the bar. I kept lapping 4 seconds quicker than the r8 and won by over a minute. It is worth saying that my first driver was lvl 38 and my second was lvl 39 with around 200 races of experience. So your bobs might not be as high a level.

Yes I did it in that car 👍

If you could just start the race and leave bob to win I would be all over this race but I don't have time or want to sit around babysitting him for 40 mins to grind money :(

Guess it depends how much you need the credits and I don't need them that bad! :sly:

Same I have 20 million but I the new OCD has about 15 million cr. worth of cars that I want so the money would help

Done it on first try with a Chaparral 2j with my lvl. 40 bob, it has his experience bar up to the middle
The 2j with the transmission set to 390km and a stage 3 turbo

Yea my guys still blow mere 30 & 29 & half the races your guys have under their belts
So I gotta lvl them up some more
Hopefully the event not over before they get up their lol

I have always wanted that car knowing that it is one of the fastest not f1 cars in the game but haven't come across one in the OCD. By they way do you know when the half price, 0 miles stops?

The Spa event is better, in my opinion. With the Le Sarth event, you have to sit there for the entire event in order to win it (in my experience), but with the Spa event I can leave Bob to race by himself and he'll win it with no input for me. It's 2 million less credits, but the extra ease is worth it.

Yup
Exactly what I'm sayin

It takes 24mins to get 4 million on Spa, so I see this as the better option for credits as the other takes roughly 40mins. Do Spa twice and it's only an extra 10mins (or less) than what it takes to do Le Mans but you will have 8 million instead of 6. Sounds better to me. Am I wrong?

First time I raced it, got in 3rd place. Did it right now in a Chappy 2j 809Hp 653PP with lvl 32 Bob in 40:13:07. Got a racing suit, 6M cr and a medical bill from the hospital; Bob just blew a fuse.

EDIT: It is best to do SPA two times.

Is there only like one car that can do the Span race with no input cause I don't have the nismo z. Can any one give me a list of the best cars to do this event with and I will see if I have any of them?

Thanks

Using the YMS Tomica on intermediate tyres, easy win as there's no need to pit:tup:

it's only up for 2 day's
so it's not really a grinder.

But I did get the 20.000.000 Ford finally :D

tomorrow get some spending money and than it's back to business as usual ;)

A lot of the seasonal event's have expiry dates, but then they stay up. hopefully we get a good run with this, I want the 20,000,000 Ferrari.

I beat the Sarthe Circuit with a LvL 27 Bob only (All other Bob are 0 so I only chose 1). I started with Racing Intermediates (I forgot to up my bobs pace so I was in last until the beginning of the third lap). I pitted going into the 4th lap and the rest is history (same tires), that is until 7th lap. I was in that with nearly no strength (both) and I thought that my Bob was going to have a heart attack driving. I noticed he still acted the same with no strength (or I just picked the right orders). In the 8th lap, I was still in 4th. Heading toward the curves after the third straight, the Bentley nearly wiped me out and in the 9th lap it wiped me out at the end of the long striaght (it threw me into the sand luckily I land right where the pavement is,so I took off but I guess an invisable penalty happened so we both slowed down to 50mph). At this point I was getting worried because they haven't pitted since 3rd lap but they pitted heading into the 10th lap. I cancelled my Pitt and just let my Bob cool off so no mistakes would happen. I finished the race in 1st with nearly nothing (No strength, little gas and barely and back tires). My Bob went from LvL 27 to 30, so did my lvl. Sorry about this being so long.

Spa is a better time/money return though. 4 million for 20-ish minutes, and much easier than the La Sarthe one.

really? 2J with stage 3 turbo gets you 654PP. might be a little higher with oil change etc. Some of the cars your racing against are 715PP.

I had to try 3 times, but I finally won. I used a Chaparral 2J with sport soft tyres and I set its top speed in 400 Km/h (but I think a lower one would have been better). I was very surprised the sport tyres worked much better than any of the racing ones.

i tried this. losing soo much pace on the straights. they just pull away so easily.

Did you up the top speed? I got half way through the field by the time they pitted first, took the lead, and then I was making time on the R8!
By the time they pitted for the second time, I was already more than 40 seconds ahead. But yes, with keeping my driver at a decent pace.

As for grinding, as has been noted, Spa is much better. No input needed and better Cr/min ratio.

Realisticly shouldn't there be a command which tells your bob to pace up for the entire race or stint. Cause in real life racing if you are a race engineer than you could get on the radio and tell your driver to push the entire race then leave him be and let him race.

I was doing spa again and I went back to this to see some more opinions while was on the last lap, my bob got passed on the straight on the last lap :/

Yep.. That exact same car. You won't believe how can that car can keep up with the LMP ones

Took me 2 attempts, only through an error in tyre choice on the first attempt. (it got to 60% rain so I panicked ans stuck full wets on, only for the rain to stop and start drying out!)
Both attempts were with only 1 level 35 driver, as I didn't notice the 2nd driver option until I did it again to raise some more cash and try another car!
Used the BMW V12 LMR on Intermediates the whole race, one pitstop and numerous refusals to bob's requests to stop in between for a coffee and some inappropriate tyres.

Did Spa first time, same level 35 driver and used the Mobil 1 NSX. Bob completely walked it!

I also think there should be a "Defend Position" command, they just let everything straight past them without even defending the racing line!
