Least Favorite Track

Can't stand the Alps track, it looks great but I'm not a fan of it as a race track. Also not a fan of Iberian but it can be good with low class cars.

Oddly enough I actually like Ladera, which is probably the track I hated most in FM3.:odd:

I dunno, I like the Alps track myself.

Sedona's not one of my favorites, but I don't mind it too much. I like the longer variations that incorporate the oval.

Yeah, the insta-braking sand on Sedona frequently gets me.

I really wish Turn 10 wouldn't implement such unrealistic features in order to stop cheaters. At least just make the insta-braking sand/grass only apply to online races. For time trials it's not needed, since it flags your lap as dirty anyway. And for single player, who cares?

Second most hated track is definitely Silverstone. It just has no flow, it's a bunch of awful turns connected by overly long and wide straights. Too many steady-state slow turns that go 180 degrees or more.

Yup, Silverstone is just plain boring! :grumpy:

Agreed. It's not bad for autocross though.

If it was like, severely truncated, and shrunken, it might be fun. It also has almost no elevation change so that's part of why it's so boring.

Yeah, but also just how the track layout is made...
I find it utterly boring!

I thoroughly enjoy Road America, but more so in faster cars.

I really dont like either iteration of Maple Valley (I wish they would bring back Blue Mountain)

I am glad Infineon is in this game, loved it in the GT series.

Despise Tsukuba Circuit.

Sedona is one of my favorites. I love the lighting, the way the sun glares off the track, the sharp turns, but the still having some nice long straights, the bridge. Pure autoporn for me.

Sedona is by far the worst.

Not a fan of Maple Valley either. Iberian tracks are pretty bad.

My most hated track (by a long, LONG way) was all variations of Sedona Raceway in Forza 3.

Haven't driven on it much/all version in FM4, but i still don't like it that much. The only good thing is the drag strip, and the new scenery. The track itself is still not one of my faves.

Don't really like Ladera or whatever from FM3 still (the amount of painted lines etc on the sides of the track look stupid). It would look better with less tarmac edges and more grass.

Hokkienhiem is a little boring too, think its changed again from the last time i raced on it (TOCA Race Driver 1?).

Sedona Raceway makes me wanna club baby seals, I hated it for R2 racing.

I'm thinking Sedona, Silverstone and the Alps (nice looking though). So basically in the same boat with you guys! =)

I would say that up until a couple hours ago my least favorite track was the new alps track. But I did the bmw gt race cars showcase, and I gotta say, racing that track in my R3 800 class M3 GT2 car was quite an experience. If you get a good flow going you can really fly thru that track and test the limits of your car.

So after that experience my least favorite track would have to revert back to sedona, like many others. I just do not do well on that track in any car. Followed by the short version of Ladera. Its just not very inspiring at all.

Silverstone used to be one of my least liked. But over the years its kind of grown on me and I actually like racing on it now. I just cant overlook the historical significance of that track. I am glad they have the "old" version tho, and not the new setup the F1 guys race on. I havent quite warmed up to that one yet.

This is also the first time Ive race on Infineon. Ive still got a lot to learn on that one, but I actually like it so far.
