Laguna Sec.... Not Sure why, really. Just hate it.

Hate the oval tracks too, but mostly because anything remotely to do with NASCAR makes me sick.. lol

Côte d'Azur (Everything but the ocean looks nice but overall not a very enjoyable track.)
Nürburgring GP variations (No flow at all.)
Tokyo R246 (No car seem to feel good on this track.)

Madrid
Tsubuka
Both Superspeedways

God the new seasonal events make me hate cape ring even more. Span out three times and flipped my car once because of the stupid jump.

Cape Ring. Almost always 5 laps with each being 2:30 -.-

I dislike Madrid and Rome. Too much time was spent on making the tracks look good and accurate but in the end the layouts are not interesting (although for some reason i love London) Also Cape Ring and Monza are very boring to me.

But I'm a fan of Suzuka and Fuji, which seems to be rare around here..:)

i dislike cape ring because of that stupid ring and the huge jump which makes GT5 feel kike Need For Speed.....

Don't even get me started about Daytona, indy and even their inside courses. Wayyyyyyyy to flat, wayyyy to easy and wayyyyy to boring. I don't understand why all those americans love to go in circles and even with the inside courses it's so flat i could drive Schumacher times while having tea and steering with two fingers.

To make a long story short, I don't like flat tracks, easy tracks and boring tracks. I guess I'm a Nurburgring 24h lover :) At least those give me a challenge!

The Indy and Daytona road tracks, they're just crap. The ovals I don't mind.

Rome and Grand Valley Speedway were two tracks I used to hate most but I now I'm loving these tracks. Overtaking in the 2nd corner in both these tracks is lotsa fun. You have to balance brake/throttle/steering very rapidly to overtake in these corners.

Right now, the only thing I hate is driving around twisty tracks in a muscle car!

Madrid and London, absolutely horrible tracks, Rome however is awesome.

I'm not really taken with any of the circuits for some reason, other than the Nurburgring; my most disliked would be anything Nascar, the city circuits (lack of ambience, or just poor / uninspiring layouts), Fuji, and Cape Ring. I seriously think Cape Ring was a first attempt with a track creator similar to that in Modnation Racers.

PD I feel have fumbled in not at least getting all of GT PSP's tracks into GT5; it's resulted in more focus on the tracks we have, and after the huge amount of grinding the game forces you into (not helped with the necessity of B-Spec) you can't help but get tired of them. Yes there are new tracks, but they don't fill the gap by a long shot. It also doesn't help that they've included tracks for disciplines that I've no interest in at all (I'm looking at you, Nascar); I would honestly have more fun if you turned them into car parks and gave me some cones. That's 6 tracks there I'm never going to race outside of career necessity.

Cape ring is actually one of my favorite. The track layout and corners are so well designed, it's impossible to see a track like this in real life. (Huge elevation and It's near a cliff for god's sake!)

My least favorite is Daytona and the huge oval for NASCAR.

Least favourite in order...

1. Nürburgring Nordschleife - too long, too narrow, too bumpy, too fanboi
2. Cote d’Azur - too small, too narrow, no flow
3. Sarthe - too bumpy, bit dull
4. Nürburgring *all variations, no flow
5. Indy Road - Just feels like a commitee designed it during their lunch hour and after the hour was up said... "that'll do"

So what kinda tracks do you like? Super wide and flat with no imagination? You must love most of Herman Tilkes recent work!

I agree with Indy road though, totally uninspiring.

I don't understand all the Suzuka hate. I love that track, it's massively technical, fast and challenging - exactly what a proper race track ought to be. Way better than Tilke's rubbish Fuji, the other Japanese GP. The general consensus is that it's one of the best F1 tracks out there, up there with Spa.

Cape Ring Full. Far, FAR too long for my liking and almost impossible to really give a powerful car the beans. It's like a go-kart track that got gluttonous and fat, and there it is.

I, unfortunately, dislike Daytona and Indy ONLY because PD flunked on the NASCAR physics. Going around the corners at Indy running 180mph in 3rd gear isn't exactly realistic.

Cape Ring full does just feel like a few small circuits randomly stuck together rather than one large track that is broken down into smaller tracks.

Deep Forest, Trial Mountain, Cape Ring Periphery, Grand Valley, Suzuka, Fuji, Laguna Seca, Daytona Road, Autumn Ring & Eiger Nordwand are all great fun tracks.

IMO High Speed Ring and either of the Ovals are a necessary evil so I won't condem them .

My least favourite course right now has to be Special Stage Route 7.
I could forgive its length and boringness since it's clearly a "Wangan"-themed track that many surely like, but at least PD could have added better and more detailed scenery or shorter/alternate variations blending with existing or new "Special Stage" tracks. Right now it just looks like a highway running in the void, while the real deal from which the track takes inspiration (Bayshore route in Tokyo) has a much more gorgeous night scenery.

Cape ring most boring track in GT series! Better choice was to rebuild Midfild raceway and El capitan:banghead:

Indy - Boring , Change this track to the old Midfield Raceway

Daytona - Boring , Change this to the Test track which was in gt4 i think

Tokyo - Never liked this track, stick in Imola instead.

Cape Ring - All though i liked this track 1st of all, now im also finding it boring and just drags on to long, replace this track with Spa

City tracks in general, save for Monaco. They're just not as fit to race on as regular tracks, and I don't find any particular charm in racing on the streets of a city. Doing a speed test on SS7 is fun though, and I prefer it to the test course, but for racing and hot laps it's not very good.

I really disagree about what many here are saying about Cape Ring, I found that one a really welcome addition. Yes, it's excessive as hell, and that big loop turn makes me think I'm playing Ridge Racer or something, but I find it great fun and quite well thought out.

From the real tracks, it has to be Tsukuba. Yes, I know, it's a drifter's paridise, but since I prefer racing (because I suck at drifting), it just annoyes me because I just can't set up a consistent pace, every lap is like driving for the first time there for me.
From the city tracks, I have a tie between Tokyo and London. Tokyo because I have the same feeling with it as with Tsukuba: I'm not very consistent there. Not as dramatic as Tsukuba though. London because, unless you're driving <250 hp cars, it feels pretty dull and boring.
And finally, from the original tracks, I can't stand, as many others, Cape Ring Full. I don't know why, but it has something that makes me avoid it unless it's in an A-spec/Seasonal event.

trial mountain

i have always hated this track *ever since gt1
so you can tell how happy i was to see it again in gt5

Cape Ring. Simply boring. Nothing to look at, just plain boring track with no distant terrain, reminding me of some SEGA arcade game with some unrealistic, absurd track with loops for Sonic to run on - nothing like previous GT-games. The corners are also quite repeating - which has to do with the matter that the track is quite synchronous.

Tsukuba, Indinapolis and Daytone are also quite boring. The endurance race on the first two are really nerve-wracking tests for how much boredom you can handle.

• Tokyo R246 - Horrible layout.
• Trial Mountain - Never liked this track, and it's one of the ugliest in the game.
• Autumn Ring - The track layout is pretty good but the bad graphics annoy me every time.
• SSR7 - Zzzzz.
• Fuji Speedway - Only works with a lot of opponents and a good race car that doesn't understeer. Worst track to drive if your car understeers too much.

On a sidenote I think the Cape Ring is one of the more enjoyable tracks in the game, the boring looks aside. It has that roller coaster feeling to it when you get your driving line right. It's a bit too much to take on the whole layout, but the shorter versions are perfect in length imo. I especially like the version where you meet the many S curves just before the final turn to the finish line.

All of the Rally tracks.
I can't stand the way GT5 portrays rally racing, it just feels wrong.

Everything else is OK, but I do miss quite a few of the older MIA tracks.

Favorites: Tokyo R246 and Indy Road Course
Least Favorites: Suzuka and Madrid
