Left View and Right View

I'm playing with the bonnet view, and I've tried binding the left and right views to most of the buttons of my Thrustmaster T500RS but it doesn't seem to work :/ Only the rear view works for me. Can anybody help me?

I don't think left and right work in anything other than cockpit and bumper cams - regardless of controller/ wheel - but I'm not 100% sure as I'm not on my console ATM.
