I can confirm that the F50 lose none of its black stripes or badges by painting. I am guessing the color you want is

Ferrari - Rosso Scuderia
Rosso Corsa * though I've taken to painting all my Halo Ferrari models in Rosso Fiorano.

Depends on how much cash you need. I can tell aprox. how many races you need arround tokyo or le mans if you give a number
Thanks, I'll try do some maths later and work out how much I need to spend!

predictions on the arrival of the Ford Mark IV race car 67 ????

It's actively rendering everything each car does at all times during a race. Just because an asset isn't on screen doesn't mean the computations stop for it, and those same assets can be paused in replay and looked at in minute detail. You LOL, but don't seem to understand that the computing power to do all that is WAAAY more than rendering the same vehicles onto a static picture. So laugh all you want, but you're only self deprecating.

Also, clean your fan, my old PS4 slim runs this game quiet as a church mouse.
Regardless of your fan speed and your immaculately clean vents, the PS4 pro dropping frames (and this is a known issue so you acting like you have the lone PS4 slim in the world that isnt affected actually is hilariously laughable) does not bode well for your idea of having 20 cars per race.

A PS4 can handle 20 cars detailed down to the screws holding corner lights in
No it can't. Look up Level of Detail. The cars running live in-game are not running at the same detail level you see in photo mode and scapes. You can even see the AI cars "pop" sometimes when they change LoD model as you get closer to them.

Not easy. The 3 legendary cars from the trophy have a rotation of their own and get back to lcd faster than the other cars

Oh okay and do you know when it was last available please?

Dont remember clearly, but the 330p4 and xj13 came back not very long ago, so markIV will be next and its probably close. Wouldnt be surprised if it came back in the next days or next week

Last up early July. As said, the three trophy cars are hard to predict as they seem to have their own rotation. Best case is that it will appear in the next few days (around 7th Aug) otherwise if it reverts to the same rotation as everything else then mid September.

Approx. 8.12mil... 12 rounds of Sardegna at 26 mins a pop. Approx. 5 hours worth...

Or 80 bucks in MTX

Anyone have a current legendary car changing list? It seems that a new round had begun and i'd like to get the 20m alfa and the mclaren , but i dont know when it would appear

MY PS4 runs fine, and while frame dropping happens frequently (I literally said nothing about frame drop or that it doesn't happen) that has NOTHING to do with the assets being rendered in construction of a race OR the fact that you can pause at any point, go to ANY car in the race, and look at the Philips head screws holding a corner light in, suspension components, injection molded writing on lights and tires, script in light fixtures, etc etc.. That's the reality of what's happening in real time at any given moment in a race of up to 20 cars with physics and a 3D rendered environment around them, so for you and anyone else to think that it would take MORE computing power to render these same vehicles with 0 physics needing to be computed and 0 power devoted to constructing an environment (scapes are 2d photo) is way more hilarious than any laughing you did in your own sad, hubris filled confusion. There's not much more of a cringe inducing moment than someone thinking they're right to the point of laughing when they're flat out wrong. We've been here before... it's expected now.

They ARE. And you clearly haven't taken the time to look for yourself. Pause the game, choose photo and then feet to free roam your environment. The cars are rendered 100% inside and out. The only details that drop in a race are smooth corners being aliased, wheel detail at distance, and some other minor changes to help the PS4 keep up, but even then these stop when paused. And, like I said, even if they aren't in view, the PS is still rendering everything about their position and movement, the whole track environment along with 20 other cars, all rendered in 100% detail, and the fact that you and others think it would take MORE power to render LESS is just insane. You could take a race photo with all 20 cars in frame, but you think we can't do this in scapes... you're 180 degrees out, bud.

So, just to reiterate, the cars can be rendered 20 at a time into an also fully rendered track environment, all in frame, and be poured over in insane detail at any point in the race with any amount of physics being computed at that moment, but to do this with static cars over a 2D picture is TOO MUCH TO HANDLE... haha, ok guys. You're basically saying it takes 500hp to go 150mph, but it takes MORE power to go slower. Can't wait to see what backwards, confused, responses come from this.

Yes, when you're very close to them. The cars on the other side of the track, or even in the distant straight, are not full detail models. Like I said, look up LoD. It's an incredibly common technique used in pretty much all 3D games. The high detail model is only switched in when you're up close.

Also, I never said anything about Scapes and what is possible. I was merely correcting your assertion about in-game models.

The car models in the garage/scapes are clearly more detailed than what you get during actual gameplay. Just look at how the brake callipers are modelled in the garage vs on the track.

The Subaru Impreza type R is a good example. Try rotating the chase camera during gameplay, and jagged edges will ensue. :yuck:

Well of course they are because they aren't moving and are in a studio where no other visual assets are loaded.

Up until 1970 I'm missing:

Mercedes-Benz 300 SL (W194) '52 Cr. 13,000,000
Ferrari 250 GTO '62 Cr. 20,000,000
Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe '64 Cr. 20,000,000
Porsche 917K '70 Cr. 18,000,000

71.000.000 cr.
Only 86 WTC Le Mans

BTW i'm lately grinding Le Mans with the Jaguar XJ13 66' and it's a bit more challenging. When it's not raining, because AI keeps 1) not stopping when the storm is imminent or already raining 2) mounting hard tyres unless it's raining cats and dogs, and even then maybe not.

144 Le Mans for me (from August 16th until October 27th). I'll have all cash i need to buy my final 13 cars, last one available around the beginning of December.

Only 20 more Le Mans for me to buy the F1 and 288 GTO. But I still need over 100mil to buy all the brand central cars
