I'm only interested in the 917 and the mclaren F1 road car, then I have all the cars I want, not interested in the barker etc, cost alot of money and I'm never going to drive them 🤣, sitting on 40.5 mil, but also have a invite for ferrari, so the fxx and the Enzo I have to buy to, so I have to grind some more, slide around on tokyo in the F40 is my favorite at the moment 😁

Chaparral is a price car for the sun also rises 😉, that saves you some 💰

I'm not going to list the cars I have yet to buy. It's probably more than 50% of the Hagerty stock list...

917K should come soon, and I'll have JUST enough coin to purchase it, then I'm happy with my legend car collection for a while!

MY PS4 runs fine, and while frame dropping happens frequently (I literally said nothing about frame drop or that it doesn't happen) that has NOTHING to do with the assets being rendered in construction of a race OR the fact that you can pause at any point, go to ANY car in the race, and look at the Philips head screws holding a corner light in, suspension components, injection molded writing on lights and tires, script in light fixtures, etc etc.. That's the reality of what's happening in real time at any given moment in a race of up to 20 cars with physics and a 3D rendered environment around them, so for you and anyone else to think that it would take MORE computing power to render these same vehicles with 0 physics needing to be computed and 0 power devoted to constructing an environment (scapes are 2d photo) is way more hilarious than any laughing you did in your own sad, hubris filled confusion. There's not much more of a cringe inducing moment than someone thinking they're right to the point of laughing when they're flat out wrong. We've been here before... it's expected now.

They ARE. And you clearly haven't taken the time to look for yourself. Pause the game, choose photo and then feet to free roam your environment. The cars are rendered 100% inside and out. The only details that drop in a race are smooth corners being aliased, wheel detail at distance, and some other minor changes to help the PS4 keep up, but even then these stop when paused. And, like I said, even if they aren't in view, the PS is still rendering everything about their position and movement, the whole track environment along with 20 other cars, all rendered in 100% detail, and the fact that you and others think it would take MORE power to render LESS is just insane. You could take a race photo with all 20 cars in frame, but you think we can't do this in scapes... you're 180 degrees out, bud.

So, just to reiterate, the cars can be rendered 20 at a time into an also fully rendered track environment, all in frame, and be poured over in insane detail at any point in the race with any amount of physics being computed at that moment, but to do this with static cars over a 2D picture is TOO MUCH TO HANDLE... haha, ok guys. You're basically saying it takes 500hp to go 150mph, but it takes MORE power to go slower. Can't wait to see what backwards, confused, responses come from this.
You really have no idea what you are talking about. Just stop. You're letting your hatred of me blind you

144 Le Mans for me (from August 16th until October 27th). I'll have all cash i need to buy my final 13 cars, last one available around the beginning of December.
That's a lot!. Although if I add up all the cars i'm missing after 1970 i guess it would be something around that if not more, but i will take that veeery easy.

As far as I know, this is not how 3d engines work. They only show you what you need to see, to save resources (this is called culling). For instance the front of the car is not rendered if you are seeing it from behind. When you roam the environment, the game is rendering what you need to see in real time. It's not like a 3d renderer where they render everything at once and takes minutes or hours, it's real time rendering, much more simplified and precalculated.

but also have a invite for ferrari, so the fxx and the Enzo I have to buy
Be sure to get the LaFerrari too. I love that and the Enzo, and the Fxx is fun for doing the new hyper car events...

Yeah me too! With the 917K, I'll have pretty much everything I want except the Miura, which isn't that much. I'm not spending any big credits on the Barker or any of the other high priced cars, though I might get the McClaren road car way down the road...

Be sure to get the enzo and laferrari, the fxx is nice but its low on top speed.

Up until 1970 I'm missing:

Mercedes-Benz 300 SL (W194) '52 Cr. 13,000,000
Ferrari 250 GTO '62 Cr. 20,000,000
Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe '64 Cr. 20,000,000
Porsche 917K '70 Cr. 18,000,000

71.000.000 cr.
Only 86 WTC Le Mans

BTW i'm lately grinding Le Mans with the Jaguar XJ13 66' and it's a bit more challenging. When it's not raining, because AI keeps 1) not stopping when the storm is imminent or already raining 2) mounting hard tyres unless it's raining cats and dogs, and even then maybe not.
Play on normal it rains for 1 lap

The next 2 entries according to the list are ferrari 500 mondial and the corvette c2 stingray sport coupe.

No it's different every race. Ran it twice today - no rain. I've run it recently where it was a deluge for a couple laps and then had a wet track most of the race. But most commonly the rain comes on lap three or four and the track is wet for about two laps.

Currently, there are 12 LCD spaces, with just 1 vehicle out of stock.

Out of the 11 vehicles that are in stock, 8 are some shade of red.

I don't guess they will get to 12 of 12 in the same color at the same time with the red Alfa and Escudo on limited stock before the white Shelby or silver Mazda.

The laFerrari was already in my garage 😁, must say, Enzo to 600 pp is also fun at tokyo, but nothing beats the controllable slides of the F40 😉😁🤣🤣

definitely no. Today, the LCD had a new car: a gold corvette

-Cobra Daytona
-250 GTO
-300SL W194
-Barker Tourer
-Alfa 8C
-Mclaren F1

Kinda regret not buying those cars during the Tomahawk glitch era. I'd have to waste at least another 60 mil for those cars now.

Buy the awd lamborghinis and spam tokyo. You will have 60M in a fair amount of time.
If you have the 3 legendary cars, the 917k and the alpine a220, they are also great in tokyo.
Use the glitched tune for the alpine.
Go to the race with a diferent car each time. It helps mitigate boredom.

The 917K can tune for 600PP?!

Probably even more. Remember, prices are going up again in the August update. Yay!

I've been doing Tokyo for a while, but 917K for Tokyo ???

What colour is the new Ferrari? Blue?
As the Mondial is modelled on a specific prize winning car, it has only one colour. If you want something else, you have to repaint it.

For those who are waiting for the 917, it is now second in line after the Sauber C9. After the 917 comes the F1 roadcar if they stick to the previous order. I have 37 million in the bank, so bring them on!
