Probably a question you won't see asked much, but... When is the R8 Gordini expected to be back in rotation?

Oh. I didn't realize that. I still hope i can find Ferraris, Lambos or maybe Astons or anything that can do the Sardegna 800 in a similar manner to the Zonda. 2 Stops and great performance.
I use the Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak. It can do it with two stops and the fuel on 2 or one stop with the fuel on 6.

I tried that car yesterday and quit after one lap. I hate the huge turbo lag, and I was slower in it than the other cars I tend to use. What makes you choose it?

Same here. Once you get used to the characteristics of the old turbo lag, the Escudo is fun to drive. I get sub 26 minute races with the Escudo, which is OK for me. I am only faster with the Sauber, the Porsche 962, the McLaren MP4/4 and, my best horse in the stable for Sardegna, the Mazda 787.

Hopefully the 917K and F1 are spaced out. Need those two and the Alfa 2900B to finally complete the LCD. 57.4M 😵‍💫.

I chose it just because I owned it and it already was at 798ish PP. Tried it with the fuel setting as lean as possible and won with 1 pit stop. Then tried 2 pit stops and more fuel and found my overall race time was quicker. I'm not bored of it yet so I've not tried other cars. Maybe I'd be a minute or so quicker in something else, but I don't grind that often so I wasn't bothered.

Thats all well and good, I guess I was just so put off by the lag that it surprised me someone liked it.

Surely I am not imagining this. The Daytona has now shown up twice and no sighting of the 250 GTO or W194 in that timeframe.

When was the last time Daytona showed up? I forgot.

About 6 weeks ago if memory serves. I bought it fearing that the GTO was scheduled to come shortly after and it still hasn’t shown up.

I have a feeling they're gonna put GTO, the Alfa and the W194 near the end of the month right before the content update with whatever new Legend car they're adding.

That would be OK, I’ve resigned myself to the fact that I likely won’t be able to afford the Alfa this go-around, but I really want the GTO and the Merc. Any new legend car will allow plenty of time for grinding.

Yeah I'm having a hard time justifying the price for the Alfa. The Barker is a much better car at less price IMO.

Bon! Got the Cobra Daytona, just the 250 GTO and the 8C 2900 to go :)

I've scrambled to buy everything in the last cycle, and now that I finally have the money for the remaining cars saved, they suddenly don't follow the previous order anymore and all 4 remaining cars I need are overdue. They were last seen almost 3 months ago (CLK, 2J, 8C, F1-GTR).

What's the point in making something unavailable in a game for that period of time???

To keep you logging back in every day to see if it's available. To push people towards buying the MTX to get it when it does show up for the limited time.

Been waiting for the Alfa C8 2900 for ages! I'm affraid I may spend my cash in something else...
Can anyone tell me which are the stock tyres on the Cobra Daytona?

Thanks!
Sure glad PD no longer gives these older racers the grip of racing tyres; it ruined the fun of racing them in GT Sport.

Chapparal 2J ‘70 2.5M
Aston Martin DB3S ‘53 5M
Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Touring Berlinetta '38 20M

Mercedes-Benz 300 SL (W194) ‘52 13M (I know, I know, ’they’ are saying its going to be 20M when it comes back, but I’m still holding my breath on that)
Ferrari 250 GTO ‘62 20M

One more off my list with 33M in the bank. Total is down to 33 or 40.

You could just win it from the mission.
Yeah, I have the same "problem". But I'll be damned, if I waste another minute on a drift mission. Has it become any more controllable with the latest physics updates? If not, I'll gladly spend the money I already have saved rather than curse my TV for several hours, because I missed the Gold threshold by a couple of points. Compared to drift missions, everything else in the game is easy golds.

4 left for me to collect all cars
  1. Ferrari F40 '92 -- 2,600,000
  2. Maserati A6GCS/53 Spyder '54 --2,900,000
  3. Nissan Skyline Super Silhouette Group 5 '84 -- 1,150,000
  4. Suzuki V6 ESCUDO Pikes Peak Special '98 -- 1,700,000
Others than those , nice to have :
Would like to buy one more 787, CLK ,
so is every color car for each invitation.

Haven‘t seen the Ferrari 365 for a while. Hope it comes back to Hagerty‘s soon...

For me, it is a bit easier to control now, but I'm a DS4 player.

I find drifting relatively easy on controller. Managed gold on all the drift missions early on, although that one at Daytona took many, many attempts to nab the gold!
