Yeah, I have the same "problem". But I'll be damned, if I waste another minute on a drift mission. Has it become any more controllable with the latest physics updates? If not, I'll gladly spend the money I already have saved rather than curse my TV for several hours, because I missed the Gold threshold by a couple of points. Compared to drift missions, everything else in the game is easy golds.
You can make those missions easy with strategy, man. Go kamikaze-style on corner entry and then try to save it... If you succeed you'll get a load of points and the gold will come.

It may take a few tries but eventually it works out ;)

A lot easier than trying to "get the grips" of drifting on GT7... sorry for that lol

I've been out of the scene for a little while, and missed the two Legendaries from the 1.19 update: the Maserati A6GCS/53 Spyder '54 as well as the Nissan Skyline Super Silhouette Group 5 '84. Does anyone have an idea as to when they will come back around in Legends rotation?

911 GT1. When will this return
Nobody can possibly tell you. It's not a rigidly ordered thing, and although it seems to follow a rough pattern there's no guarantee that anything will appear at any given time - and each update changes the pattern further.

However, if you look at when it was last in the dealer and add 90 days you'll have a reasonable estimate of when it will next appear.

Really underwhelming for me driving it.

Tested in 1 race on a sim rig with no assists. No idea about performance on controller or with assists. Fast lap was 1:35.2 and optimal was 1:34.4, but I think a really good driver could break well into the 1:33s with just a bit of practice. You could break under 25min overall if traffic works for you and you put in clean laps. I had bad traffic and two wall touches and still was under 25:30.

FM1 gives almost exactly 5 laps pushing as hard as possible, so stop for a full tank and tires at the end of laps 5 and 10. Don’t bother sacrificing speed trying to save stops.

This car loves squared off corners, straight exits, and getting the pedal floored as soon as the tires hook up on exit.

Don’t use 1st gear ever - take slow turns in 2nd and trail brake to keep the rears from lighting up on the exit. If you’re shifting before 90mph or so, you’re coming out too hot and losing speed to tire spin.

Take a wide entry on both turns 4 and 5. You should be in 3rd gear coming off the final kerb out of turn 5.

Enter very wide, and apex very late for turn 6. You want to be at the top of 3rd gear nearing the barrier at the exit and hitting 6th gear at the bottom of the hill straight at T7.

T12 is flat out. Take a good bit of grass and stay hard right so you can take T13 wide into 3rd gear, power on early in it and under steer out to the kerb on exit, hopefully hitting 4th around the middle of the exit kerb.

Trail brake longer than feels “normal” coming out of T14 to keep the rears in check.

T15 is NOT flat out. Lift slightly for just a moment as you apex and cut the corner so half your tires are on tarmac and half in the grass.

It's not taking up any slots. Once it's gone, as well as the other two, they won't be filled with something else. Those were just additional slots temporarily added, as they were new. It will go back to there only being 10 slots.
The Office Thank You GIF

DB5 and Nissan Silhouette tonight. Hoping the 97 F1 GTR and CLK LM are soon
It looks like they've skipped around 25 cars due around end August to mid September, the CLK and 97 F1 among them. Hard to predict what PD will do next but if they just fall back in line they'll be back mid to late October...

Woah what happened? I missed the Skyline Super Silhouette when it was added to GT7 and I thought I'd have to wait I don't know how many months to get my hands on it.
There it is
