Me still waiting for the Porsche 917:

The five remaining cars in the LCD for me:

Mercedes S Barker Tourer '29 - 13,000,000
Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta passo corto '61 - 8,100,000
Aston Martin DB3S '53 - 6,000,000
Ferrari 500 Mondial Pinin Farina Coupe '54 - 2,600,000
Plymouth XNR Ghia Roadster '60 - 1,600,000

Thankfully with the 7 Million I'm about to have thanks to my Gold time in the Time Trials, I can relax the grind far earlier then I was expecting.

As a result of my preference for older cars and general lack of funds, these are all in my garage rather than a collection of the 20M Cr. ones.

I love all of them, especially in VR, and especially the Barker with its majestic furlongs of bonnet*.

(* Barker was an English coach builder of course)

I'm waiting for the "new" cars tomorrow. If I don't see anything interesting to buy, then I'll buy the Chaparral 2J.

Let's see.

Edit: Ok, the Aston DB3S is incredible at every level. Is beuty, classic, is fast, and is really fun to drive, really an awesome adittion to my collection. Just in time for the Pebble Beach '25

Hope we can get more PB's winners in the game, these cars are really fun.

I am working to get 20 mln credits as well. Selling VGT's and other stuff I don't like and doing a teeny bitty of Spa and Le Mans grinding.
Spa 1 hour remains one of the best races in the game.
Yes go for it this are is pure legend, the first and probably the last 20M car I'm buying in double Also I wanted to try wide body on it so I need another one.

I still never tried the Spa race yet. I really need to do so. This Friday maybe since I'm not working. I have lot of pre 2000 cars that should be amazing in this race.

It's a fun race, because of the variable weather and the pit/tire strategy. Not everybody's cup of tea, but I like it much.

The Dior Mangusta is not classed as a collectible vehicle. That's why it's not marked as such on the GTP Master Car List.
There are a couple of others too, the 25th anniversary version of the X2019 Competition and the Stealth version of the Mazda VGT Gr3 (although neither of these are within the scope of this thread).

Although they don't have separate entries in the Collector Book, they do both count as collectible vehicles, filling in the Collector Book entries for the base cars when you acquire them. The Dior Mangusta is the only car that does not, and has no book icon (filled or empty) to indicate ownership status.

Now that I didn’t know, thinking all three had similar statuses. Thanks for clarifying the point.

What I don't know though is WHY?

Like, WHY is there a car you can buy but doesn't get added to your Collector Book - leading people on several occasions to think it's a bug and spend millions on multiple copies?

My guess is it’s just a brand livery tie in rather than a marque specific version.

It bugged me when it first came to the game as I ended up with about 5 of the useless things!

The '94 McLaren F1 road car has 9 colors in total.

Marlboro White
Base Silver
Magnesium Silver
Mercedes Brilliant Silver
Platinum Silver
Historic Orange
XP Dark Green Metallic
Jet Black Metallic
Carbon Black

I'm only missing Base Silver hope it shows up but nope. :(

I only have Orange and 2 of the silvers so far. The green and black ones are the important ones for me now.
