Looks like wings...

I've decided to double build the last pair of wings to cut build time.

Wings on, now to the last bag, bag 5.

Bag 5 is a small bag with the booster parts, not far from finished, if you haven't guessed its an X-Wing

Ok build is now finished, this is the final model.

Thanks, my partner is going to get me the Tie-Fighter for Christmas. I might pick up the other sets, I want all the Star Wars mini figures but some are hard to get because they only come in specific sets.

I really wanted the huge set but didn't buy it, gutted now as they fetch about £1000+. I might pick up the smaller set at some point.

When we were there a few years ago it was a T-Rex and a Transformer-esque robot.

The hood, doors, and rear wing are motorized, the front wheels turn, and the pistons move when the rear tires roll. Backwards, yes, but I'll cut them some slack.

I'm looking at Dracula's hearse and thinking... classic Batman TV series 'Batmobile' Lego (along with bat bike, bat copter and bat boat), is only a matter of time.... Speaking of time, could the BTTF Deloreans be an official Lego possibility also?... hmmmm.

Id love to see a BTTF Delorean as a Lego model. Maybe it could be a part of their Creator seires like the VW Camper and Beetle.

That would be pretty cool, i'd definitely buy that as a creator series.

Hmm, if we're thinking about classic American cars, i'd have to suggest the Corvette Stingray C2, having seen those awesome Beetle & Splitty pics, i think it helps if the car in question has easily recognisable features, and i think the C2 with it's arches and rear windows would make a nice Lego creator series... along with the Bel Air you've suggested (for those similar reasons, distinct tail fins etc).

Have either of you 2 made the alternate model yet? I'd quite like to try it out, but I don't know if I can be bothered taking the Supercar apart...

I haven't for the same reason. It's not like it just comes apart like a "normal" set. Then there's the week long build times.

Maybe if we get snowed in this winter I might be ambitious... Unlikely. : lol:

The undercarriage also goes up and down, and the control column moves the "tailerons."
