Not sure if I've posted much in here, but have got back into Lego in recent years, along with my wife.
Some of the sets we have:
Speed Champions: Nissan GT-R, R34 Skyline, Audi Quattro, Lamborghini Countach, Ferrari F40. Like some others here though, i find most of the cars look crappy. I only own the Countach, F40 and the Audi as they suit the blocky Lego style more than others they've done and you don't need to think too hard about what car it is meant to be.
Wifey has a Kawasaki H2 set yet to build, a Sonic set with the loop-de-loops and Dr Robotnic, a cat and mouse and possibly other things I've missed.
I have a big Ferrari F40 that i bought at the Lego Store at the Rockefeller Center in New York in 2017.
A huge Mack Anthem Technic truck and trailer i got for Xmas or a birthday one year.
An Indiana Jones set with the tip over statue things.
A Creeper Lego (or Lego-esque) keyring.
A small Creeper.
A big Creeper (I've got a weird obsession with that monster from Minecraft - i have Creeper: pillow, basketball, night light, cups/glasses, playing card, door/foot mat, body wash, desk light, mousemat, computer mouse, socks, PEZ lollies, soft toys (small and very big), cardboard fold together creeper heads, stickers, Christmas cards, body spray, bath duck Creeper, Xbox Controller, controller/game/headphone stand, keyrings, soup bowl and so on).
Ahem, anyway:
And my most recent purchase was the Schumacher Ferrari F1 car.
I did own the huge Concorde model for a couple of years, but it was only when i got it home on purchase day that i realised i have nowhere to put it once it's built, and the shop didn't do change of mind returns. So never even opened the box.
Then we started getting a bit financially tight, with two young kids, so reluctantly had to sell it - which took maybe six months, and when it sold it sold at a loss.
But oh well, it is what it is.
I do have things on my wishlist, but they're too big too some of them, like the Tintin moon rocket.
I also have all of mine, my two brothers and my sisters Lego from the 1990's, and my grandparents Lego house sets from the 1970's or so.
Good that Lego is branching out more these days and making custom parts to suit certain builds, but its still an expensive hobby!
