I think we should rename this thread to the "Building Block Collectors Thread", similar to how the "Hot Wheels Collectors Thread" was renamed. Anyway that Alpine looks fantastic. So to your cats.

8285 has gone through two rounds of upgrades, both of which I thought I'd post here but the bloody thing is still a bit WIP because I keep coming up with further ideas. It's now complete from the sleeper back wall forward but the rest, well it's up to me to decide if I'll throw the rest of common sense out of the window or stop here. It's a dangerous combination when you have imagination to vision things, skill to actually make them, and money to buy what it takes.

Gulp. The rest of the parts arrived today. Brace yourselves, I'll do a full presentation when I get it finished.

Nifeliz MCX. Nothing really special about this one, but it was cheap. Construction is really similar to the Ford GT, so I think it was partly copied.

And speaking of second hand Lego, the shelf it used to occupy is empty... for now. I decided to want another flagship from the past, the only way to get it was to buy used, and it's been slightly problematic as some parts need replacing for a properly good end result. More to come when it's done.

Well, this happened. It took a couple of months but eventually a wild 42009 appeared, with slight modifications as can be expected from me. The original brick built hook was swapped for a vintage metal part from my own old stocks and there are a few other minuscule changes, nothing big though.

Michelin branded tires have become my new favorite Lego piece.

I'm going to have to get a few.

They look wonderful on BMWs, they are the same that come with BMWs just with the added logo.

They stick out a bit on the Porsche, but I like the final result.

I have a busy days at work, when I have time to build the Ferrari, I'll post some pictures. (Sadly a lot of stickers)
