It was just me and galahad who joined the lobby on Sunday gone, although I couldn't race so we just had a couple of casual laps.
This race afaik is on for this coming sunday but can't happen without drivers, now I don't mind small numbers if needs must but if ppl can confirm their attendance then we all have incentive to be there at the right time to race.
I believe it will be around 5-6pm GMT and there will be a limit on tyres and perhaps PP. It might be useful for confirmed names to put what car they're in and what pp it is to help galahad decide on pp cap.

Lets get some confirmed names down and make this happen ( I'll edit this post with my cars pp when I'm next on GT5 ) I'm driving a gold Jag

I will race! I have all the cars so ill just run one that you guys arent driving. Lets try to get a big field.
 
Good man. I've suggested to Galahad that the first race could be a relatively short one to encourage attendance, waiting on his opinion on this..

Right, Galahad doesn't want to host this now, understandably due to lack of ppl turning up last week but he said he's happy for me to host ( I had previously just offered to help him organize ) .

Now I was going to just use this thread to organize this but starting a fresh one might be less confusing and will allow me to edit the 1st post of the topic. Full credit goes to Galahad for coming up with this race idea, so thanks go to him.

I will start a new thread and put a link to it in here for that, and I aim to have the details all in place.
If the numbers are still low for that race then it will still go ahead but perhaps reduce the number of laps if that happens. Worst case scenario if there's 2 of us maybe just change it to a lap or two of Nurburgring.

This race will be in 8 days, the one for tomorrow is now off. I'll be hosting it and guarantee I will be there regardless of numbers.

Being in the US, I could create unneccessary lag issues for those in continental EU, though I'd like to join up. I dont have any of the cars listed, but just to run, would hop down to a lesser quality car to participate if you wanted a larger field. (I do give right of way and follow GTP OLR etiquette on course)

diabolicwyvern do you mean that different connection types create the lag?
I think allowing the use of more affordable cars might be acceptable to increase the amount of participants, so long as they're in-keeping with the era. Just post up in the thread first to check if they're okay :)
