I tried to feel like a newbie and followed your instruction. My thoughts (as a newbie): "Hey, I know what to do now. This was very helpful."
Maybe you can add an advice for posting postive feedback that it`s not very helpful/usefull to post "+1,000,000,000,000 positive". Mostly the amount of trades or traded items sets the number. But it`s a personal thingy, I know.

I can definitely see where your coming from in regards to the +1,000,000 ha ha. But if I were to add some sort of guidelines about what counts as what, that goes against what I'm trying to preach here about numbers not being important. Let me give you an example. If I were to post:
Monatsende +1
Monatsende +1,000
Monatsende- positive
Monatsende is a good trader
Really what is the difference? The part that hopefully people are taking away from reading the post is I HOODFIELD completed a trade with You Monatsende. How much or how many is not necessary because no one is going to sit there and add up a score. The post will get lost eventually so you could have +1,000,000,000 like you were saying but in reality it counts as only one post. Do you see what I mean?
I also don't want to change much of anything at all really. This system that we have been using has worked fine for all this time. Who am I to say someone doesn't deserve +1,000,000,000. There are tons of post like you describe but they really don't hurt anything, they actually are helpful. Not every time but usually if someone were to post a +1,000 (I actually never saw the +1,000,000,000 ha ha) the person receiving that score did something out of the ordinary so they probably deserve it. When I see a +1,000 of course I don't really believe 1,000 trades took place, who does? But it's a useful post because I think "damn that person must have done something really good".
Now I added some ideas that don't need to be enforced but could make feedback more useful. "How many" is listed there so some may follow it.
-Was it a trade or donation?
-Type of items? (car, ticket, paint, gear, etc...)
-How many?
-Communication
-Ability to resolve problems
I would agree that +1,000 would have to be addressed if the thread was being run like the way GM intended. But I think GM neglecting the thread actually did everyone a favor by not making this into some sort of competition. We want it to remain friendly around here, and everyone treated equal without a score attached to your name. Are you a better trader because you have 2 PS3's and I only have one? Do you see what I mean?
