Level 20, 5 million. Should I buy "Formula Gran Turismo"?

Hey.

I'm at level 20(a-spec and b-spec), and got 5 million credits. Should I buy the Formula Gran Turismo? or should I buy several cheaper cars?
 
You need either A or B-Spec to be level 24 before you can buy the FGT. So... you can't.
 
Get to level 24 asap and then buy it. It's an extremely valuable car to own and to use for B spec till you get an X1 then it becomes redundant.
 
It seems to be a love hate car, Many people slate the car but personally I find it a Joy to drive with default setup, only thing I've changed is the Oil and transmission ratio for certain races.
 
You have to buy this car as soon as you can. Mostly because it will allow you to level up and grind further cash like no other car and the fact you need it for both A and B spec races.

I had to do it the hardway and save my nuts off as there were no seasonal events offering easy money so it took a long time at your level to grind 5 million.

to give you an idea my FGT has now done nearly 20,000 miles of grinding earning me cash and progressing B spec Bob toward level 35 which he'll get to tonight. Level 35 rewards you with an X2010 so I may start to use this for further grinding.
 
This car is fast and will win money against lesser opposition easily.
However when up against like cars in the FGT championship it becomes a lot harder to drive fast for 20 laps.
It is not the car, it is getting used to concentrating at max effort for 25 - 35 minutes and doing that over 3 hours to get the series done.
I did each formula race individually first to get used to the car and then did the championship once I was comfortable with the effort needed.

Yes you need one. It will repay itself by bucketloads once you get it.

Any body else feel like XP is like doing homework:yuck:
 
Get it as soon as you hit level 24. It makes your life much much easier until you can get the X2010

I oppose that remark, the FGT is one of the most fun cars in the game. I have a ton of replays from the last FGT online race I entered. Had not had so much fun in a long time.
 
You know it's a good car when it's banned from most online lobbies. Lots of online lobbies say "no x1,fgt,veyron". The FGT is a very fast car with a ton of grip, my only caution is that it can be tail happy and has not as much grip in slow corners. Consequence: Slide, and with the MR Layout, a spin. Reccomendation: Get one and win the FGT Championship with it.
 
It's super fun at eifel circuit:dopey: It is so worth it I bought one a few days ago its so fun to do fgt only races:)!
 
I would recommend making friends with people that keep it online to share with friends and save some of your credits.
 
You will need this car in a future race, so rather than put it off or push it aside, get it now. That's even if you don't like the color of it. You need the car for the Formula Gran Turismo World Championship. It's the only car allowed for that championship. So in other words... get it now if you don't have it already.
