I had a great qualifying today but my car was bad off the line and terrible on tires today. I may have went too aggressive on the setup.

Do you have any other devices connected when you host?

I don't mind giving it a go either, I'm on Sky Fibre optic and pretty much get a constants 28+ download, 9+ upload with a ping of 19 according to Speedtest.net

I run hard wired plus no one else would be online as my Mrs is always out Wednesdays.

Anyway, ran consistent 1:08's last night, 1st sector splits were normally pretty close put losing a lot in sect 2/3.

Also why did you chose to run the RM IS F?

The IS F Concept looks so much better and also runs a lot better! XD plus I don't get much chance to ever us it! :(

I dont think its the car tbh its not suited imo to tight/small twisty tracks what big V8 is:sly: Using either of the above as host makes alot of sense the random lag of some is a real killer unless you can hit the front and escape. Not blaming anyone its nobodys fault but we should be prepared to try anything to fix it. With such low fields we shouldn't be suffering so badly.👎

Nope just my ps3 when hosting. I went on Cod after and had 3/4 bars of signal with stuff back on.:grumpy: not sure why my connection was bad or if it was.

I chose Lexus RM over concept because its cheaper plus the use of numbers I thought would be a good idea. I like the concept but the weight makes it hard to find similar cars to match it with, since I want to add more cars in the others would need to carry 200kg ish to get close. I'll test it again, and while it is better balanced its slower per lap compared to IS F RM.

Yeah again we can try you hosting, but I get the feeling GT5 servers are weaker as I never have issues in other leagues, maybe need super connection to host to avoid lag? I don't know but its a bit frustrating to say the least
 
You had lag issues in BST Andy (as did i) and your wifi was still showing a decent connection its one of those things i hope your not taking anything personally dont wanna head down that route:guilty:. Offering to sit out race 2 the way you did isnt going to help us sort things it simply makes people feel like 🤬 for pointing it out. This series although quiet is alot of fun personally:) but if that starts to dwindle for whatever reason i'll have to hand me keys back the tension lastnight wasn't great.:yuck:
 
Yes i agree this series is lots of fun , lets hope we can keep the drivers we have and hopefully more join us.

I offered to sit out not screw other peoples races up, not being a child I was thinking of the interests of others not to annoy others. I didnt want racers being mad at me for lag, and Im not annoyed at people pointing out Im just trying to do whats best for others
 
It's like all new things, just take time to iron out the creases only way is up :)

As for these lag issues I don't understand it me and Andy have hosted previous gt5 leagues with no issues guess its just the connection on the night..

Take it I wasn't lagging in the race as no one had said in lobby.. If not then I believe I now know why it was happening.

Yes but it only seemed to effect me and you my point is as i keep harping on its nobodys fault where and when it crops up its something we live with or we dont. It just seems more prevalent here and with such low fields thats confusing. In BST its nearly always there on the first lap but thats usually with heavy fields. If i was that upset Andy i would have simply hit the off button the last thing i would expect was for you to sit out of your own series.:lol:

I guess but I am confused why its happening. As Gaz has said I host f1 and we have no issues.
It was better with more numbers, weirdly. Im sure we will work something out but if I had to sit out I was more than willing too.

Just GT5 messing around with me.:grumpy: oh well.
 
I can't wait for daytona! Will be pushing hard to close the gap to those pink cars.

Hopefully be better, wider track too so hopefully car will handle better
 
Hey andy, ginger_snap has decided to retire from this series, I've tried to convince him to press on but its like trying to get blood from a rock :ouch:

I'm still racing though, enjoying this series very much :sly: full of great racers and good battles for position 👍

Can't wait for the next race :)

PS: Get that table updated :dopey:
 
He raced in monza r1 & r2 and rome r5 :rolleyes: looks like I'll be a little tweety bird by myself :dopey:
 
Lap times at Daytona, I managed 1:43.3 and I reckon a bit more to come so possible high 42's for Pole.
 
Haven't run any laps yet hows numbers looking tomorrow? Finding motivation tough with just 7 of us.:grumpy:

I'm in the same boat john, been having way too much fun with black ops all week :lol:

I think the only time I've raced on Daytona road course is for the A-spec stuff so this will be interesting none the less 👍

9/10. Not sure tbh (people not responding to PM's), if everyone turned up it would be 11. Had 3 drivers leave, so had 14 drivers at one point.

Sucks but if you aren't enjoying it you can leave, not going to force you to stay.👍

I'm just saying if you don't feel motivated to race/don't want to race I won't force you too. Not saying "thank god he is leaving" I'm glad you do race and you are welcome, same for all drivers. But if you get to the stage where you don't enjoy it/not motivated I won't force you to stay as I understand it starts becoming boring.
