Lexus LS 460, 4.6 V8 380 bhp

An obvious influence of BMW 5 series in the rear.

Why does everyone want to copy other makers, even though their design has more criticizm than praise? (ok, thats 7 series, but still) Make your own design, dammit!

Cadillac is like the only unique maker in terms of design now.

While Cadillac's design is not my cup of tea, I do think they are good looking and do respect them for their originality. Now, Lexus has ripped off German designs from the very beginning, but sometimes, I like the result even more than the original. It's love/hate with Lexus designs for me. I love the LS series, while never liked the GS series too much(GS300/original Aristo's an exception). With the IS(first gen), I like the front, but hate the back.

For me, I always liked the GS (all years) The IS is very much what you say. The SC has to be the ugliest convertible on sale. LS is too bland.

Good sales are the best praise a car can get. And the newest 7-series is the best-selling one BMW has ever made.

The only negative opinions you're reading are from journalists and forum-goers. ;)

Eight-speed autotranny? Now, that is cool.

Too many gears for me. Six is enough. Its probably gonna take you forever to shift down all the way from 8th to 3rd when exiting highway using paddles!

Don't forget about the other drivers on the road going, "what the heck is that thing! :yuck: ". :p j/k

Nah, one thing's for certain -- everyone can recognize a new 7-series when they see one.

Now, whether or not they imediately lose their lunch upon doing so is another matter.... ;)
