I can't beat any of the tests for S Class. I follow extactly like the demo(or close to it) and i keep going 2 seconds past the limit for bronze. It's pissin me off.
First drive one good run. Then look at the demonstration. There you'll see the demo car and your ghost car. This way you'll see where you can improve your time. Keep doing this untill you have bronze or better.
Stick it out, man. I bronzed the S-1 test in a few tries but spent an hour getting within 0.115 seconds of bronzing S-2 (Seattle II in the GT40). I think I could really like the GT40 as a car but by the time I get another couple of seconds off my laptime I bete I never want to see it again.
i found all the s class tests challenging, i still have the last one to go. Take the corners fast, and brake late if you need to gain speed, but remember yo fully open the throtte as soon as you think you can make the corner at the speed you're going
yeah I completed my S-licence last week I found they were all not too hard except for the last one and the trial mountain one witch I both beat with only 0.1 secs to spare
[I've found] that one of the keys to winning the S-class licenses is to avoid the normal driving techniques you were taught for GT... stop-and-go. While effective in racing to avoid excessive tire wear and dire mistakes (such as losing control when drifting or powersliding), it's simply too slow to win any of the S licenses. This is especially important in the Seattle test- I was attempting it with the stop-and-go method, and could get only 3 second close to the time. But, then I resolved to try some drifting, and my time fell like a rock. This is also important in the Miata test- You would think that since it lacks racing brakes, you should make an effort to stop the car before momentum caries it into the grass; but, quite to the contrary, you want to do the opposite, because it's nearly impossible to make up lost time with it's mediocre acceleration... if you semi-drift the corners, you will be able to carry out with a lot of exit speed.
Last time I tried I was 0.115 off the Seattle test. The problem with that one is you HAVE to brake, and hard, or the GT40 just plows into the outside wall. The trick is to know when to start your slide so that you just reach the end of it with the car pointed straight through the corner. Then punch the gas and off you go.
