License Loading Issues

Anyone experiencing loading problems in licenses, I'm trying to take tests, and it stops on the gran turismo logo in bottom right...help!!!

Tried clearing the cache, no luck! seems I can't license up, bummer!

I'll have a go at that, you mean the pre-installed track data to speed up loading times?

I've had terrible problems for a couple of weeks now. I restarted the game a few months back as i'd almost completed it, so i began again and this time around, several elements of the game just won't load.

Can't load some licence tests, they just stall permanently, i've even left them overnight. Can't load the Special Test Top Gear, it stalls again, says "installing data", then freezes.

Have checked the disc for damage, its perfect, so have no idea what to do about it. I'll try and log out of PSN and play it that way, but i'm not sure it'll help much. I also have several instances of bad graphics on some tracks, like big black smears in the skyline where the clouds should be etc, and these follow the car around. It's just gone so buggy. I've even wiped the PS3 and reinstalled everything, which ended up being over 9GB just for this game, but again the same problems occur.

Any suggestions gratefully received. Thank you.

I never even bother for license i have no licence completed on GT5

Maybe try to play GT5 without signed in to psn...

Update - i can confirm that disconnecting from PSN made the game run much, much faster - it was like lightning. Unless i want to play the Seasonal Events, i'll stay disconnected from the PSN in future as the improvement is massive.

However, when i got to the Top Gear Test Track again, it wouldn't load - so even though i've inspected the disc AND re-installed the data, i've decided to buy a new copy of GT5 and try with that. Dunno what else to suggest really. The disc has NO scratches on it, but it just won't play the Top Gear Test Track special events.
