do the world compact car cup, and win the honda s800 race car. it has like 92 h.p. stock or something like that, and meets all the requirements of the lightweight race. fully tuned, it is like 157 h.p. or something.

I've got a different but kind of related question...

How in the heck do you win the Suzuki Concept house race? I've dumped every mod except tires...

Racing tires. Racing tires make a huuuge difference in the performance of your car. You have to use racing tires, I found, thats the only way I could keep up with that first place GSX-4.

Funny thing though, is that when I came back, the GSX-4 wasn't at the top of the board, and I won handily, only receiving 8 A-spec points for the race.

So there's definately some randomness in how tough your opponents are going to be.

Hmm...
I seem to have had a different experience than anyone else here with this cup. I used the Autobianchi tuned to 106 (said 114 on the menu, but 106 in the replay, what's going on here?) or so horsepower, with Turbo, chip, etc. Beat the second 2 races easily (Cappuchino turned up on Tskuba, was never a challenge, oddly, and stayed mid-pack). But on the first one, I'd get to second place and there'd be a Honda Beat (Type F, I think) that had to be at least 2 seconds ahead of me! I bought additional weight reduction and a superlight flywheel, but for some reason that changed the lineup of cars I was facing, adding 2 Beats (Type Z and F, I think) at the head of the pack. These I beat easily. What's going on here?

I had a GRAND OLD time buying a used 1991 Honda BEAT and just dumping an INSANE amount of money into it. Fully decked out with rims and a big ole WING. OH MAN it was great. Put that TCS to 8 and set it up for a 100 shot of N0S and that sucker was KILLIN' that Lightweight series. It was great fun. You almost have to have the 100-shot of N0S to get that sucker to speed out of the turns. In the end it'll have about ~144HP or so. No reason to go cheap to have fun. Use the 265/275K trick for more money, don't be cheap people.

A fully tuned BEAT can kill the Lightweight cup and also the Japanese. Compact cup. Even on B-Spec it will 0wn.

I won the '72 Honda Life Step Van & so i decided to go with it. coming in @ 30hp, it was a little under powered to say the least.

DAMN MAN!!! you got balls. I took one look at that awful piece of $#!+ and said SOLD! But YOU SIR! I admire that risk. Me, I just couldn't bare to mess with that thing. I have to draw the line somewhere. :dopey:

Call me crazy, but is this the most fun race in the game? I just finished the super license before I raced this and going from navigating a Bentley Speed 8 around Le Sarthe to flying around in a little Capuccino was ridiculous. I looked at the field and felt like I was in a cartoon. I may actually go back later and try to win this with different cars just for fun.

Cappuchino lets you race in the Suzuki one-make races as well...Suzuki K-Car Cup... 5000 a win!

I try not to drive cars with cutesy names (for fear of diminishing my manhood ;) ) so Capuccino was never my first choice. I'll guess I have to buy it for the Suzuki races, though.

I used the Lupo Cup Car to use in the compact races because I don't believe in fair competition either :D.

Copen with what ever (think it was fully modded... What the hell was I thinking?)... God!! that car gains a terrible amount of Turbo lag... worked for me though... Used it to finish the Copen race too... Its funny to see a car so tiny buzz around the tracks (aside from the extreme lag it suffers)

......Stargazer being such a manly name ;)

Can you use the Fiat Panda in this lightweight cup?
