I was just wondering what car other ppl used to beat the most annoying race in GT's history

I personaly used the viper GT-S

I used a heavily modded SVT Cobra. It didnt seem like hell because I was so thrilled to be winning, I wasnt very good at first.

As listed in my compendium I used the Viper GTSR Concept.

Full suspension, Stage 3 NA, and a racing tranny.

Oh yeah, a fully-dished-out Toyota GT1 road car... that was a pretty hard race for me, since my main "opponent" was the Toyota GT1 race car... In fact, the only reason I won was through harder tires (only slightly though, since I think he was running on T3s, and I T2s), and I did a lot, and I mean, a lot of drafting...

what kind of speeds will i need to beat that race? my skyline, when at 1068hp can do 240mph, i think.

Mayorbill, 240mph is plenty.

I think the closest competition is maybe going 218mph or so?!

I used the second car I bought, a r34 gtr vspecII. After winning everything is a breeze with the 787B. The skyline I believe had all the upgrades , stock transmission, and I didn't change any settings. The most trouble was with the GT One Race Car. It was a VERY close race, used a lot of drafting. I used hard tires so I only had to pit in once, while I think the GT One pitted in a second time and that's what saved me.

Since the test course is probably the most boring track in the game, I whipped out my fully modded Lotus Esprit 350 Sport to finish them quick. It does 274, so the pain of racing on that track wasn't as bad.

i drop to about 227/228 on the corners and i'm at 242 at the end of the straights. i'm going for it.
