Race modded ZR1. Gearing on Indy is important. I think i set to 410 top. And that worked way better than 420. Even just a small change can make a big difference.

You need to bolt on more speed to the car though, so go to the tune shop. Also don't forget to put on the stickiest tires.

Minolta, but you probably don't have that. You win it by beating Like the Wind and then you can farm the Indy race for credits very easily.

I used the ZR1 RM. Every turn, never dipped under 200MPH. On the straight, I also go all the way on the inside line, then when the turn is about to come out, go out-in-out. Since even if you're yaaaaaaaaaaards away from the AI on the straight, the draft seems to be strong as heck.

I used the Bugatti for Daytona and the Mazda Furai Concept for Indy, with the Mazda, put maximum downforce for front and rear and set top speed to 236 or 242 and never let go of the accelerator, you should NEVER have to let go of it on indy, the racing soft tires and downforce allow you to just fly through the corners.

Mazda Furai for both and rember to set ur transmissiona and downforce to max
You unlock furai by doing the B spec Mx5 race.
Remember racing soft tyres and max upgrades.
Oh yea try and use slip stream to your advantag too I stayed 2nd place till lap 4 and over took at te lasst minute using slipstream i wana upload my race.
