We currently have a log-on bonus where we get increased payout's in races and time trials etc. But wouldn't it be great if regular users also got discounts on purchases too?
Depending on the log-on bonus you'd get increasing price reductions on cars, parts, maintenance and racing gear.
This sliding scale is taken from the post below by @PikachuRacer11 and seems very reasonable.
Day 1: 110% prize bonus + 5% Upgrade and Car Discount
Day 2: 125% prize bonus + 10% Upgrade and Car Discount
Day 3: 150% prize bonus + 15% Upgrade and Car Discount
Day 4: 175% Prize Bonus + 20% Upgrade and Car Discount
Day 5: 200% Prize Bonus + 25% Upgrade and Car Discount
It'd make those precious credits go a little further wouldn't it?
Or possibly as an alternative (or maybe as well) for those those who can't or don't want to logon everyday...
...Perhaps they could have a special "Online Sale prices" section where random cars (and maybe suits, parts etc) get reduced. It would keep things interesting, since people would tend to spend a little time looking through the offers when they did logon. (Similar to the GT5 online dealer)
This idea wouldn't go against the current micro/macro transactions so much, since not everything would be getting reduced at once.
